I lept backwards and with an easy flip I landed on the top of the building behind me. I shot off across the roof and in under a minute I was joined by the other two. They were slow and sloppy, obviously not good riders, and I could tell they were a little drunk.
I jumped off the edge and turned around backwards skating that way. They landed and I smiled. "You'll have to do better." I called to them before turning around and rocketing off. One of them swore and the other was muttering something, but I couldn't quite hear what.
I vaulted over the railing and with a quick 360 degree spin and shot forward, heading for Akito and Bucha, both who were standing off to the side of the party. Ikki, Onigiri, and Kazu were missing. I jumped down one more step and hockey stopped infront of Akito and Bucha.
"Hi." I said.
"What are you doing?" Akito asked. I glanced behind me.
"Running from them. " I gestured with my head to the two boys still on the second step. I smiled. "I'd better go, don't want to get caught. It'd ruin my image." I said. Bucha snickered and Akito smiled.
"Have fun." He said. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek before taking off. I bent my knees and jumped, landing on the top of the building.
I skated forward and jumped across to the next roof. I started to go in a circle and glanced back. One was behind me, but the other wasn't. I looked forward just as the missing one jumped at me. I ducked, but he caught my mask and pulled it off.
I jumped back and cover my face as best I could with my hair. "Give it back." I ordered.
"Nope." The guy waved it then rubbed it with his fingers. "Wow, this is surprisingly soft." He said. I looked between them and lept off the building. I dissapeared into the ally below and sighed.
"Shoot this isn't good. If anyone other than Koga sees me I'm dead." I thought. "Koga?" I suddenly asked myself. Then realized what I had meant: Koga was short for Kogarasumaru. I smiled and went through my bag with no luck.
I sighed and shot away, quickly crossing the rooftops. I glanced back, but no one was coming. When I looked forward I saw a flash of gray and black before colliding with whoever it was. We both fell into the ally below, me hitting a metal railing and landing in an empty trashcan. I heard a thud nearby as the person I hit landed.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention!" The girl shouted as she pulled me to my feet. She had a deep hood that almost entirely covered her face, but I could see glittering rust colored eyes.
"It's just my fault as much my fault as it was yours. I wasn't looking either." I replied. She looked at my dress.
"Your dress...it's ruined." The girl said. I glanced down. The beautiful dress was ruined: the entire side was torn up and both the bow and belt were falling off.
"Oh geez." I trailed off.
"I can help! I have tons of dresses. It's the least I could do." The girl said.
"Thanks." I touched the two skate charms hanging on my belt and pulled them off, holding them in my fist. "But before we go can I take care of something real quick?" I asked.
"Sure, I'll wait here." She answered. I nodded then lept up to the roof in a flash and stopped in front of the two boys from before.
"Either you give me my mask or I take it, your choice." I said sweetly.
