From behind the pines I saw the small movement of gray fur that sent my stomach dropping. I'd missed my target, again. Letting out a small grunt of frustration I stomped towards the pines to collect my arrows. My target, Alex, huffed in displeasure and then proceeded to shift into his human form.
"That's just depressing," he says, hands clasped behind his back.
"This is getting ridiculous Alex."
"Whatever do you mean Amelia?"
"Firstly, I already said don't call me that, secondly, we've been out here for six hours. I'm cold and if I don't get something in my stomach I'm three seconds, I will set this damn forest on fire." I spit out, hands and teeth clenched.
