The Next Mom

[Short update]

JANE LOOK AT the mirror to see her refelction after her stylist finished her make up.

She stood up and smile when she saw her get up. Her smile widened when she felt her bump as she caress it.

"Whoa, looking good."

Napalingon siya sa nagsalita at nakita si Yassy na nakatayo sa likuran niya na may ngiti sa mga labi.

"Hi, are the oldies done?" she ask pertaining to the three older girls. Its her and Yassy's term to the three if they're both talking about the three.

"Uhm yeah. Except Ate Sands, pero I think patapos na rin," sagot nito.

Nakangiting tumango siya at muling tiningnan ang repleksyon sa salamin. Inaayos niya ang buhok at nakitang lumapit ito sa tabi niya.

"I still have that hangover last week, ate."

Tiningnan niya ito. "About what?"

"What you told us."

"Oh," she said and smile.

"After 8 years, ikaw na," anito.

Tiningnan niya ito dahil niyakap siya nito ng magaan mula sa likuran.

"Oo nga eh. I don't know what other people will say."

"What do you care about what the others will say? If they really are supportive to you, they will understand," Yassy said that made her smile.

"You're right," was all she could reply.

"Ate, ang importante, masaya ka. And I want you to know na masayang-masaya ako para sa inyo ni Kuya A, sobra."

Ngumiti siya. "Thank you."

Kumawala ito sa pagkakayakap sa kanya at saka nanlaki ang mga mata sa kanya.

"Grabe ka, ang haba ng sinabi ko ganyan lang sinagot mo?"

Natawa siya. "Eh masyado akong na overwhelmed sa sinabi mo."

Napaikot nito ang mga mata. "Hay naku. Tara na, baka tayo na lang ang hinihintay."

"Yeah, susunod ako."

"Okay."

Napabuga siya ng hangin nang siya na lang ang naiwan sa kwarto nila.

Napatingin siya sa cellphone niya na nakapatong sa dresser nang tumunog iyon.

Ngumiti siya nang makita kung sino ang tumatawag. "Hi A."

"Hey gorgeous! How are you? Nasa airport na kayo?"

"Wala pa. Nasa dorm pa pero paalis na. Ikaw?"

"Kakatapos ko lang ng taping. I had the time so I called you. Namimiss na kita."

Natawa siya ng magaan. "I miss you too."

"How are you and the angel inside?"

Muli siyang napangiti sa itinanong nito. Wala rin sa loob na napahaplos siya sa maliit pa niyang tiyan.

"We're both okay. Relax ka lang diyan," nakangiti pa ring sagot niya.

"Hmm. That's good to know. Si Mama kasi, walang araw na hindi niya ako nireremind na icheck daw kita lagi. Ang praning talaga niya. Parang siya tuloy yung asawa kesa sa akin," natawang sabi nito.

Natawa rin siya. "Alam mo naman yun, excited dahil unang apo."

"Oo nga eh," anito at saka bumuntong-hininga.

"Ang lalim naman nun," aniya.

Aaron let out a gentle laugh. "Its nothing. Namimiss ko lang yung misis ko."

Magsasalita pa sana siya ng marinig niya na may kumatok sa pinto bago bumukas iyon at iniluwa si Ate Welcy. Ngumiti siya rito at ganoon din siya.

"Ay kaya pala matagal may kausap ka pa," tukso nito pero pinaikot ang mga mata na ikinatawa niya at ni Aaron.

"Patapos na, ate. Susunod ako," aniya rito.

"Okay," anito at ngumiti bago sinira na ang pinto.

"I have to go, A. Let's talk again later."

"Okay. Ingat ka diyan. I love you."

Jane smile. "Ikaw din. I love you too. Bye."

"Bye."

She happily sigh when the call ended. It was after a month and a half when she found out that she was pregnant.

It was a bittersweet moment because it was what she and Aaron planned for years but they don't have the chance yet because of their busy schedules respectively.

When she told her members and handlers and to their bosses, she couldn't not remember how she was able to have the courage to do that.

After a long time after Ate Sandy delivered Chelice, its her turn to left the group.

Bryce, Ate Ivine and Kuya Brace's daughter is now fourteen, Sammy, Ibrahim, son of Ate Ivine and Kuya Brace is twelve, Ate Welcy and Kuya JD's son is nine, and Chelice is eight.

Sa totoo lang ay wala pa talaga sa plano nila ni Aaron ang bumuo pero it was her who is ready at that time.

Masaya siya at kahit ano pa man ang mangyari, alam niya na nandyan ang mga taong totoong sumusuporta sa kanya.

She sigh again and pick her bag before she went out of the room. She just have to play cool because she knows alot of people are keeping their eyes her.

Its not a bad thing at all. And she is excited to be a mother, and she is always ready to be one.
