On Olympus
"Arty! Pollo! Over here! I'm here!" Auraluz shouted over the crowd, waving his hands in the air vigorously to tell his older twin siblings where he is.
His siblings saw him and squeezed through the overbearing crowd to him. Artemis then slapped him on the hand and chided him.
"Where did you run off to this time?! Don't you know how hard it is to find you, you naughty little-"
However, Artemis's scolding was interrupted by Apollo who drapped his arm over Auralus's shoulders and said," Come on, sis. Don't need to get angry. Today's our big day. Plus, I'm sure Aura didn't mean to run away, right?"
Auraluz nodded his head quickly, frantically. Artemis glared at both of them before sighing in despair and shaking her head.
Today was the biggest day for both the twin gods. They have both reached 18 years old. The day where they will be getting their domains. The day where they truly become official gods, where they become Olympians.
The three walked into the throne room together, laughing and talking.
A while later
"Silence!" Zeus bellowed over the chattering in the throne room. The chatters and mumbles immediately ceased.
"Todays, we are gathered to witness the domain-receiving ceremony of my two my children, Artemis and Apollo's. Artemis and Apollo, my children, come to the centre of the throne room now."
Artemis and Apollo glanced at each other and them at Auraluz, who gave them a squeeze on both their hands and a comforting smile. With that, the twin gods then walk, shoulder to shoulder to the middle of the throne room, where all the minor gods made way for them.
As they stopped in front of Zeus, they bowed to him.
"Father. Father." They greeted him, before bowing to the audience.
"Excuse me, ma'am. Oops, sorry about that. Excuse me, I need to see my sister and brother. Ouch! Sorry!" Auraluz squeezed through the huge crowd, bumping and falling down. Apollo and Artemis saw him and tried to control their laughter when they saw him falling down.
Suddenly, three old women came out of nowhere. Each wearing just a long plain long white dress, they were simple ancient. Their clean, pure snow-white hair cascading down to their feet. They were wearing simple greek sandals. Their faces were wisened with age. The left one, Clotho, was holding a spinner, the middle one, Lachesis, was holding many colourful threads in the glass basket in her hands, and the right one, Atropos, was holding a large golden scissor in her hands.
The fates glide slowly towards to the twin gods, (Yes, glide. They are floating), stopped in front of them and raised their arms.
"All hail," They say in unison. "Artemis, Goddess of the Moon, Wilderness, Wild Animals, Hunting, Childbirth and Virginity. The guardian of young maidens. The 9th Olympian. "
The surrounding minor gods bowed while Artemis is surrounded by silver moonlight. The throne room shook as a beautiful silver throne rose up beside Aphrodite's throne. It was engraved with the moon and the deer. There was a huge beautiful golden deer lying down at the base of the throne. A silver bow was on the throne, together with a circlet with the symbol of the moon. Artemis walked towards her throne, increasing in size until she is as big as the other Olympians. She then gasped as she sat down, put the circlet on and hold her bow, felling the full power of the moon through her body.
"All hail," The fates continued, "Apollo, God of the Sun, Music, Archey, Poetry, Healing, Plagues and Prophecies. The guardian of young men. The 10th Olympian."
The minor gods remained to bow while Apollo is surrounded by the golden sunlight. The throne room once shook again as another golden throne rose up beside Ares's throne. It was engraved with the sun and the lyre. There was a golden-red horse blazing with fire by the side of the throne. Same as Artemis, there was a golden bow on the throne, together with a metal headband with the symbol of the sun. Apollo walked toward his throne, like his sister, his size increase while he walks until he is as big as the other Olympians. He closed his eyes as he sat down, out the headband on and held his bow, also feeling the full might of the sun coursing through his body.
While the other minor gods were bowing, Auraluz stood up straight and stared at his siblings in awe, wondering when it will be his turn.
