Only Human

Chapter 1: A Day Before

                                                      Hey guys this is the first chapter. Enjoy.

Christina: 

        I was doing my usual routine around the lab. I was standing in a dome and in their with me were my other "Friends" as we were getting ready to battle. We are all regular kids participating in an experiment for science. Only difference I'm part robot. Yep I'm pretty much dead in half my body. 

        Not even my fault. When I was 4 my house was robbed. My parents were killed and I was shot in my heart, legs, arms. Everywhere you could imagine except my female part. They said I was dying. Then a different doctor came in requesting me. A few tests, surgery's and serums later here I am, but when he tried to kill me I ran to a different lab. On the bright side of all that at least I didn't have to watch my parents die. 

        I hear the buzzer go off and run the course. I always win so everybody tries to beat me. All of a sudden I see a body fly by me. I start to run harder and faster in hopes of catching up to this mystery body. I fail as he crosses the finish line. I come in second awestruck at how someone beat me. I see a marking on his wrist and understand exactly how he did it.

        I walk up to confront this dude and then he turns around. I stop in my tracks and just look at him. He is definitely 10 material. He was very built no denying it. He was at least 6 foot 5. And he was mostly likely around my age. I snap out of my trance when he is pulled away and everyone goes home, well except me. I already am. 

Later that day... 

        I walk over to my room when I notice something. I hear screaming. I turn around and am confronted with a face only in my dreams i would see. Literally I have seen this things face before. I'm pretty sure I didn't go to sleep. He grabs me by the arm and gently places a kiss on my wrist making me cringe. He then says. 

" I look forward to battling with you my darling. Until then may you suffer always like you did when we rid of your parents." As soon as I processed what he said I ran for him, but then he just disappeared.

        I ran to my room and cried as the building started burning to the ground. I was about to faint do to lack of oxygen. Suddenly I am lifted from my place in my room then black. 

Zac: 

        I am driving my truck to an old place I knew. Away from this advanced society. I hope it's still there. I turn the radio on to listen to a song I haven't heard in a long time.. 

"I think I'm gonna lose my mind

(Thought: I feel the girl next to me start to move. At least she's alive)

"Are you seriously listening to that song?" I chuckle and drive on while she keeps asking me whats going on. 

"We're here!" I park the car and get out and lead her over to an old oak tree in the middle of a desert. 

"Place your had on the tree like this and no matter what don't pull away."I place my hand and go through hoping she will to. 

        A few seconds later she comes through and we carry on. When we make it to the entrance I knock three times. It opens and the girl next to me faints. I mean who wouldn't when you discover a world not meant to exist. 

Christina: 

        I wake up in a bed definitely not my own. It's way comfier than mine. I open my eyes and just take in the colorful room  I am currently in. I hear someone outside the door so I go to open it. 

"Oh hey your awake. Nice to see your feeling better.. Follow me. By the way I'm Zac. And you?" I just tell him Christina. Then I ask him...

"Why do you have that marking on your wrist?" He doesn't say anything for awhile but, then he says... 

"Cuz I'm just like you." I feel dizzy, then I'm out. 

        When I wake up I'm in this weird room. Sitting in an armchair. I get up and see a knight in armor waiting there. He told me to follow and I know I may be robotic but, bruh I am not fighting him. He is huge.

"Through those doors. This is as far as I go."He walks away. 

        I go through the doors and hear this song playing lightly in the background. I sing along for a moment ,but then I hear clapping. I shut up immediately. I turn around and see this beautiful women. 

" A beautiful voice just like your mother."She opens up a pair of wings behind her. I faint again. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
