I woke up on the sizzling hot road. Coughing as I got up off the ground.

Where am I?

I look around me and all I see is the dusty desert and a crashed car. Immediately when I see the broken down car I check myself and and wince in pain as I spot a large wound in my left leg. It's probably the size of a tennis ball. I have other minor injuries but they didn't hurt as much as my chest and leg.

I walk towards the car and I see a boy around my age in the drivers seat, injured pretty badly. His blonde hair a mess. He has a few tattoos and a lip ring so he must have been a pretty bad kid. Before I know what I'm doing I begin to scour the car for a phone to call 911. In the glove compartment I find a phone. The front home screen is of me and the guy in the car. So I'm guessing we were close? I don't know. I swipe left on the screen to get to the emergency call. I immediately dial for help.

911 what's your emergency?

Hello? I'd like to report a car accident.

Yes where did it happen

Um, actually I don't know. I can't remember a lot.

Um, okay. We can track your phone, we'll be there soon.

And with that she hung up.

I started to walk towards the upper part of the highway. Dragging my leg with every painful step I took.

After an hour of walking in the scorching hot sun, the police finally showed up. I started to slowly limp towards them as they turned their alarms on. They were much louder than before. The 2 cop cars roll in along with an ambulance. The police step out of the car and march towards the only semi "okay" person on the scene. Which would be me.

As they walk towards me I pull pieces of my hair away from my face. A few of the men take off their sunglasses as they examine my face.

"Oh my god, it's her!" One of them yells.
