Kyuhyun POV
"Aish! Kyuhyun-a where is the remote for the television!" Eunhyuk yelled out.
"I don't know and I don't care!" I yelled back to him after opening my door quickly then getting back into my chair.
I am in the middle of a match anyway. I don't need to deal with anyone else's problems. Besides today is my rest day. Our schedule isn't so packed, thank goodness. We have a few days to rest before we have to start practicing again and then in a month or two we will be on Inkigayo. I needed to rest for a bit and gaming is the best outlet for me.
"Yah!" Eunhyuk stomped to my door. Seeing me right away with my back to him, he stomped back out into the living area down the hall. I heard his voice ring loudly through the dorm. "Ah! I hate having to walk to the television to change the channel."
I heard some Japanese from down the hall and instantly knew that Eunhyuk was watching an episode of One Piece.
He is too obsessed with anime tsk tsk tsk...Kyuhyun thought, shaking his head with a disappointed look on his face.
Oh? What's this?
A new person entered into his current match and he asked his friends over the headset if they knew who the person was.
"Oi! Who is this new person we have here. I thought this was a private gaming session!"
"Oh sorry, Kyuhyun. I wanted to let one of my sister's friends play with us since she's really good at Starcraft too."
"As long as she doesn't get in my way, it's okay." Man, I really hope she doesn't lower my score. I was planning on hitting the top ranks and I don't need anyone, especially any girl, for that matter to ruin my high score.
"Is she on our team or not?" I asked quizzically, since he had to know whether or not he needed to put up his guard against her or work with her to achieve victory.
"Well...she's on the other team."
"Okay what else should I know?"
"She is the Team Captain."
"Aish! Alright, we are going to win Lee Shin Hyung."
Both me and him busted our butts off trying to destroy all the of the other enemies units, but amazingly the girl Lee Shin Hyung talked about somehow gotten all her teammates to flank us from opposite sides, eliminating our bases by letting us destroy half of their enemy units all the while making more alien soldiers to bring down our bases faster.
"What!?" I yelled out. I didn't care how loud my voice got while playing Starcraft, the rest of the members know how much I love video games and he wasn't really afraid of all the Hyungs anymore since he knew them for practically more than a few years now.
"How is this happening?!" I almost always win my matches in Starcraft, mainly because I dedicate myself to practice every time I have some time off from working, almost staying up till late at night just to get in my daily training.
But this girl....
She is like one of those elite generals that play professional tournaments.
Before he realized it, all of his bases had been destroyed and after Lee Shin Hyung had been taken out completely, even though we eliminated a lot of her teammates in the process, she managed to corner my main force and surround us with landmines and flying ships so that we could not escape. Her land troops shot flurries of lasers in my main forces direction and I had no choice but raise the white flag of surrender.
"Wow. I can't believe she's a girl."
"Yeah, she is an avid video gamer like you Kyu. And guess what? She is one of the rookies at SM too."
