Hello lovely readers, this is your author reading! Thank you for reading this, seriously, the story will make SO much more sense since you're reading this.
I just wanted to quickly talk a bit about my updating schedule: I'm still in school so my life is already a living hell filled with homework, book reports, essays, and math tests, so my updating schedule will be all over the place. I'm going to try my best to update it as much as I can without failing my classes. And with that being said, let's get to the character introduction!
Character Detail:
Akira Ishibashi:
She looks like the girl on the cover, long black hair with bangs and warm, brown eyes. She is slightly shorter than Ema, only by about a few inches.
The main character, if none of you could guess it.
She grew up with Ema and has been her best friend for forever, even when she moved away. She speaks fluent Japanese, English, and Korean (she learned it for fun). She moved back to Japan the year that Ema moved in with the Asashina boys, sadly after the wedding (which she would have gone to if she was there since her family is close to Ema's dad) and has been living there for about a year. This story takes place about a year after the anime.
Akira is and will always be a dancer. She fell in love with music and dancing since she was a child and has studied it for just as long. She went to special musical arts and performance high school in America and studied dance and music along with cinematography. She now works with artists on their songs and their performances and aids in the production of their music videos too. She basically reviews their song/ performance and helps improve it before it is released. She is kind of like a trainer for artists but works with them before and after their debut. Her dream is to go into kpop and work in that field but can't because of her overprotective father. She is technically able to go there and live on her own, but her father instead had her move in with Ema and continue to work in Japan. Akira isn't mad at him for this surprisingly, she's just happy that he isn't forcing her to go with him.
She is also somewhat awkward around guys, especially with romantic advances, due to her dad's overprotectiveness. She commonly goes red and stutters so I hope that that doesn't bother you, if so, then oh well.
Her relationship with Ema is also more playful than how Ema normally acts in the Anime. When it comes to Akira, Ema jokes around and is very comfortable.
Her main relationships will be with Tsubaki, Azusa, and Fuuto.
Ps. she also understands Juli and calls Ema "Chii"
