L O G - 01 My name is Denshi Jr., an 11 year old child with a burning curiosity, according to my parents. Sometimes I wish of buying a plane and flying all across the world collecting things and living the different worlds people live in. My dad tells me if I keep doing good in school I would be able to live my dream sooner than later. Mom just brushes it off and tells me to become someone important in life. I was always told that at my young age I sure did grow up really fast. Which doesn't make any sense since I'm still 5' 3", a complete dwarf. Eh, it doesn't matter, as long as I keep thinking tall, big things will happen. Grandma and Grandpa gave me this gadget that I can speak into and writes what I say. Honestly seems super cool saying whatever I wanna say, wherever I am. I can't wait for next Christmas, maybe Mom and Dad would give me a car
Dad Umm, I think you should ask Santa for a car next year Denshi Why ask him when I can ask you guys? Mom (Packing lunch) I'm sorry what did you ask for? Dad (Mouths) A car Mom Oh! That reminds me, Den make sure to take Alan's car pack with you to school Denshi Mom!! I can't carry his big box all around school! (pouts) I'll look childish Dad Very funny Den, but it's been here since the last time he was over which was... Mom A week ago Dad Yep! So make sure to find him as soon as you get to school Denshi (Hesitantly) Fine, fine, but how would he carry it around school? Mom It's his stuff so I'm sure he'll figure it out Dad Well, I gotta go! Tight schedule this morning, bye Hun! Bye Den! Please be- Denshi Careful, yes. Love you dad! Good luck! Mom (Hands him lunch) Here you go, do great in your presentation! Dad Thanks guys! I'll show 'em how much of a smart monkey our family is Mom Denshi!! Dad & Denshi (Unanimously) Yeah?? Mom (Upset/confused) You'll do great, please don't be stu- dumb in there. Or else we'll be thought of as a monkey family Dad (Gorilla noises) Denshi (In laughter) But we are a monkey family!
Dad has been putting so much time into his new project for his new job. The company Dad works for recently made a break through with holographic technology that helps people go through the city. His big presentation is about... lemme read my notes... "synchronizing virtual connections into human vision". I remember when Dad thought of this idea with his friends from work, Mom made him cut the grass and and buy home stuff. As a "punishment" he slept downstairs (which he didn't) but worked on the project. Eventually Mom listened and was surprised to see how far he's gotten on it. As time passed by, his work friends would come over and help him with it. One of them was Alan's dad and, well you get where it leads to. Me 'n Al became best buddies and would always meet up at the corner store by school and walk through the city to my house. I can't wait to grow up, I don't want any limits anymore, but I guess I don't need to rush into this kind of stuff. Grown ups laugh when I say these things,
