When Drew woke Ryan, school and work was in session and they were both late.
"Ryan.. Take a shower." Drew ordered. Ryan slapped Drew's outstretched hand away. "Where's our parents?" She asked him.
Drew sighed, "They left for work, Autumn left with them for school. The local bus should be coming soon... I have to get to work. You'll wait for the later one though because you need a shower to clean your hair up."
Ryan groaned. Her brother stopped by occasionally to check on the house before he left for his work. This just had to be one of the days he checks in.
"Okay... Okay. I'll take a quick shower." Ryan moaned and stumbled up the stairs.
"Good. Bye, sugar." Drew laughed. It was an inside joke.
Ryan rolled her eyes and striped then climbed into the shower and scrubbed off all the cereal and milk out of her hair onto the shower floor.

When she got out Ryan simply put her hair up in a bun, her bangs hanging over her one eye.
As for clothes Ryan put on a random sweatshirt and black leggings. She walked out down stairs then too the bus stop with her hands stuffed into her pockets.
Finally, when the later bus came to the bus stop, Ryan hopped on.
"Hey, Ry!" The bus driver greeted Ryan. Ryan smiled and sat down at the 17th section, which, in other terms, was the back of the bus.

12:00 was when Ryan got to school. Personally, Ryan hated school. And everyone in it.
Since it was her last year here at this school, there was a marriage station set up. Every boy and girl that was 15 years of age had to sign up and write everything they liked and took interest in. The council would then pair them up and they would get a letter announcing who their lover was.
Ryan hated this part of growing up. Marriage. She belonged to no one. Since it was required, she did eventually sign up.
"Heyyyyyyy...." Yelled a roundish dark skinned girl. Ryan looked around, "Are you talking to me??" She asked. "Of course!!" The girl waddled over to Ryan.
This girls name was Patricia. She was a girl that was well-known in school. Tricia was her nickname. Tricia claimed to be Ryan's best friend. Tricia liked Ryan.
"Did you get married yet today?" Tricia asked. "Nope." Ryan shook her head no. "What about jobs? You get hired?" Tricia dug deeper. "Naw, not yet." Ryan answered.
"Hmmm... That sucks, when are you?"
Tricia asked.
"Tricia.. I'm getting it all later tonight. It's my last night in my family land tonight. Tomorrow it will all be set up. Right now, I have to apply to jobs and my marriage form then they take me to my soon to be land." Ryan said somewhat excited.
"Ooooo... Well all I got was my land and job. I've been told I'm getting married tomorrow." Tricia squealed.
"Tricia... Can you believe it?" Ryan asked.
"Believe what?"
"That we are 15 already and getting married!! I'm getting married tonight and getting my job and getting my land!! It's happening so fast!!!!" Ryan almost screamed.
"I hope my future husband is a hottie." Tricia daydreamed.
"Ugh." Ryan said and walked off.

Once Ryan applied and filled out the marriage form, she went land hunting with Drew.
"I like this one." Drew said.
"Ew.. I want that one." Ryan pointed to the land a few lands down. When they waked there Ryan looked around.
"Look! My future neighbor is Tricia!"
She looked around again, "Since this is on the end of the block I have no other neighbors."
Drew put up Ryan's name on the garage door, all that was left was the name of her future husband and their last name.
"I cannot wait!" Ryan screeched.
"Neither can I..." Drew mumbled and started walking to his land.

At night, later that day, Ryan received two letters at her family land. One read, "Marriage." The other read, "Work."
Excited, Ryan opened the work one first. It read:
Congratulations Ryan! You have gotten a job as a nurse! You will look after patients and help them with any needs before the doctor comes! You will start work in two weeks from now (6/21)
Love, The Council.
The next one Ryan was a little nervous to open. This person is the person she will be with the rest of her life. When she read it her mouth dropped:
It was Jake Northhouse.
