Perrie's POV

'I've got a joke!'- Jesy excitedly shouted.

'Oh Lord, please don't'

'No, thanks'

'We should keep studying'

'But it's funny!'- She insisted. Jesus, she can act like a child sometimes- ' Did you know that urine is the opposite of you're out?'

The whole room went silent. None of us said absolutely anything because come one, that joke was beyond stupid. Anyway, and as I expected, Jesy cracked on the floor, laughing her ass off.

'That was definitely not funny at all'- Ally said, quite serious if you ask me.

'Oh, Jessica'- Ellie spoke for the first time since we got here.

My friend Jesy stop laughing seeing the lack of response. She immediately sat down and playfully slapped her fingers on the table. How I hate that kind of sounds, argh.

'I was just trying to lighten the mood. Y'all too tense'

'We are trying to study, Jesy'- Finally my Lee talked- 'We've got an exam in a week'

Jesy just rolled her eyes and I laughed. Sometimes, I wish I was more like her. I stress too much for unnecessary things.

'Whatever'

As the quick entertainment finished, we continued on reading about lipids and metabolism for a quite long period of time. We did not realize we were studying for a long time until Ally's boyfriend called her.

'Okay, girls, see you tomorrow'- She said goodbye, heading to the entrance- 'Same time, right?'

I nodded and I waved Richard before closing the door.

My other two friends waited for me on the couch with the TV already turned on. Jesy was coming out from the kitchen, grabbing a bowl of popcorn. When did they even have time for this? Jesus.

'It's time to relax'- Jesy comfortably sat in the middle of the couch.

'But you have relaxed a long time ago, though'- My cousin Ellie joked.

'It wasn't enough'- my friend foolishly winked and focus on the movie.

I didn't think it was a good idea to watch a movie and just be lazy for the rest of the night knowing how much work I have behind. But somehow I need this. I really needed time for myself. University can be a pain in the ass. Definitely.

After a while, right after the killer was about to kidnap the poor vulnerable women, Leigh-Anne paused the film.

'I need to tell you something'

'Throw it, sis'- Ellie said.

Lee smiled and I looked at her. She's been acting a bit weird these past three days. -'So, I kinda had a date last Tuesday'

Jesy literally threw the damn bowl in the air and I didn't have time to grab some.- 'Just tell us everything, don't forget about the little details'

Leigh-Anne laughed and I could see her blushing too. What is going here? -'Well, we went to one of these open-door cinemas and it's nice. She's great and cute'

Instantly, I choked.- 'What?'

'Oh well, you know her.' -Leigh blushed again and I prayed not to hear that name- 'It's Jade'

And yes, I fell like I was thrown three buckets of cold water. -'No way'

'Yes way'- Leigh-Anne jokingly said and I wanted to hit her. Oh God.

'I did not expect this'- Jesy confessed, scratching her neck.

'Well, I'm happy for you, Lee'- Ellie held Leigh-Anne's hand and smiled.

'Wait, you've to be kidding me. I mean it's impossible.'- I tried not to sound desperate but as usual, I failed.

'It happened, Pez, we had a date and it was amazing'

I acidly laughed - 'Oh really? She really invited you?'

Leigh-Anne approached me and I tried not to panic- 'Are you deaf, Pez? That's what I told'

And I swear I did not mean to be rude but suddenly words came out of my mouth like bullets and I ended up being a jerk.- 'Oh, now I remember. She asked me first but I had other things to do. She told me she'd ask someone else. I guess her other friends were busy'

Jesy looked at me shocked- 'Okay, that was not cool, Perrie'

Indeed. She was right because after seeing Lee's disappointment on her face I felt like the worst person on the planet. Why was I even behaving like this?

'I-I'm sorry'- I stood up and walked straight to my room- 'I'm gonna take my phone'

Getting into the room, I grabbed my phone which was laying on my bed. I hesitated for a minute. But I couldn't resist myself. I entered to Tinder because I needed an answer which, of course, she didn't owe me.
