There once was a man,
Whom promised a twirl,
Instead of a rose,
He gave us the world.
There once was a man,
Though he never existed,
Whom everyone knew,
Yet his fate left quite twisted.
There once was a man,
His voice never there,
Though he spoke to us all,
Loud which we could hear.
There once was a man,
Whom gave it his all,
His heart so capacious,
Put he world on stall.
There once was a man,
Whose story we bare,
He opposed so many,
Only those who would dare.
There once was a man,
To this he called home,
Twas taken away,
So freely he roamed.
There once was a man,
Of whom we've forgotten,
We ponder on life,
Our intentions so rotten.
There once was a man,
Who so generous and tall,
We owe him our everything,
We owe him our all.
There once was a man,
His last words were these,
Just remember my name,
When my soul takes its leave.
There once was a man,
Who was no man at all,
As he fell on our shoulders,
He's our guilt and our all.
