Alright you lovelies! This is my first Gaasaku, and im going to try to make him as close to character as possible, but forgive me if i miss my mark slightly. I hope you enjoy!! Also, not everything that happened in the anime will happen here, And vice versa. (Obviously, i know)
The chunnin exams were only days away, and a very exhausted Sakura rested her sweaty palms on her knees as her lungs begged for air.
"Kakashi-Sensei!" She yelled, trying to breathe slower. "You have to slow down before you really hurt us!" They had all been sparring against him, and were losing fiercely.
"Sakura, do you think that anyone in the exams is going to take it easy on you? They'll crush you and everything you stand for. Now stand up and prepare to continue." His eye seemed stone cold, and while it may seem harsh, he really only wanted what was best for his students. He continued sparring with them until well after sundown, training chakra control, fighting stances, and aimed strategic attacks. "Alright you guys," he said lazily, the rigorous training having almost no effect on him, "Thats it for today. Get some sleep and be back here early tomorrow." Sakura and Naruto groaned, knowing very well that he himself wouldnt be there until at least late afternoon.
"Sakura, can i talk to you for a minute?" Kakashi asked lowly, so only she would hear. "Are you sure about taking these exams? It can literally be life or death, are you sure you're ready for a test like that?" He asked, doubt swaying in his eye.
"Sensei, I really appreciate your worry, but im very sure. How can i know if i never try?" She asked, oblivious to the trials that lie ahead.
"If you're sure, then i wont say anything else" He stated, an unknown emotions playing in his only visible eye, maybe pride? She didnt know, but she was exhausted and begun the long trek home. As she walked into her house, she noticed her parents were already asleep, so she made herself a quick meal and went to bed, not even bothering to shower.
Early the next morning she woke with the sun in her face, and it didnt take her long to realize she was probably pretty late. She showered quickly and changed into her ninja gear. She ran as fast as she could to the training grounds, but stopped quickly when she saw a team of three, training where they usually meet. She was so engrossed watching them, a man with blood red hair, and an angry expression. She giggled to herself as she quickly noted how much he looked like Sasuke. A girl with her hair in four short pony tails and a fan, she looked so graceful that Sakura couldnt help but be slightly jealous of her. Waving the large fan around like it weighed nothing, then lastly a man whose face was all painted up with a large doll in front of him.
She didnt realize that both Naruto and Sasuke were already at the other side of the grounds, waiting very impatiently for her to get over there. She didnt even realize it when they stalked towards her getting angry. But something about the red haired guy was different, he wasnt training, just standing there watching. He had something weird on his back that looked a lot like a gourd, he was very handsome to.
'You bet he is! CHA!' Inner shouted loudly at her, she blushed in response, about that time Naruto and Sasuke reached her.
"Sakura-Chan! What are you doing?" A loud blonde boy asked, his voice alone grated her nerves, pulling her out of her day-dream. An animated vein popping out of her head,
"What does it look like im doing?" She asked viciously. Turning back to the trio, she realized the red-headed man was now looking directly at her. Her face flushed a bright red, he had beautiful eyes, though he looked sleep deprived. His face however, was twisted into a grimace.
"It looks to me like you're gawking at the sand nin." Sasukes voice cut through another one of her little sessions. She turned bright red at the statement.
