Rock Music
People everywhere have a favorite type of music. My favorite is Rock music. I love it. It lifts my spirits.
I am so tired of aduls putting it down. saying it's trash, and kids don't need it. That is very untrue. We need somthing to help us when no one else understands, or when no one cares. Adults don't understand what this music does for us. And anyway, we are our own person.
I know that we can't make every decision on our own, but there are some that we can. Like what music to listen to. If this is what we like, and what makes us happy, then adults should leave us alone. we're the ones who know how we feel; they should understand.
The people in all these bands had a dream, and they struggled together, and made them come true. They are the people who really understand us. They know how it feels, and they help. They give us hope.
To me, the best feeling in the world is to listen to Rock music and let it take me away from the rest of the world for a while. You can get away from all your troubles.
I'll never need drugs, because I've got my music. It helps solve my problems; it doesn't create more.
Music can make you feel good about yourself. It has a very important meaning. And, only kids who understand know what it is, and how it feels.
Rock music helps you realize that dreams can come true if you make them, and it doesn't matter who you are.
Kids, these days, have nowhere to turn. No one who really understands.
So, we DO have the right to rock!
