Cold Feet Part 3 🧣🗝

Chapter 3 - The Wedding

The big day has finally arrived. Mikasa was getting very excited because today was the day that she is getting married to the love of her life, Eren.

Meanwhile Eren was getting extremely nervous and having second thoughts on marrying Mikasa. Armin came into Eren's bedroom to see if everything was alright but he could sense that there was something wrong. Armin said "What's the matter, Eren?." Eren then explained to Armin "I am just having second thoughts on getting married today, you don't have to worry about it, I will be fine." Armin just looked worried as soon as he left the room to get dressed.

While on the other side of town, Mikasa couldn't wait to get married today. Her and all of her bridesmaids were celebrating the big day. All of the bridesmaids then said "To Mikasa and Eren, have a wonderful life together." Mikasa then replied back to them all "Oh thanks you guys for all of the support that you have gave me throughout the process of preparing for the wedding and just being there for me." They told her that she didn't need to thank them because that is what friends are for. All of the bridesmaids then left to get dressed while Mikasa was having time to herself before getting ready to get married.

Later on in the morning, Armin came in to check on Eren and see if he is nearly ready. He asked him "Are you ready yet Eren and are you alright now?" Eren replies back to him " Yes I am ready, Armin and I'm totally fine now,so you don't have to worry about it now because I am getting married today, so lets go." Armin followed Eren's lead but still worrying that Eren is not fine and he is just saying that to make Armin feel better and to stop worrying. Eren was still very nervous about getting married because he didn't know if is doing the right thing about getting married.

While Eren, Armin and the rest of the groomsmen headed off to the castle to sort out last minute preparations before Mikasa arrived. Mikasa was back at home getting ready and she asked Historia to help her to get the dress on. When the dress was eventually on with the veil and shoes on, Mikasa turned around and had a last look in the mirror before getting married and she getting quite emotional because she looked absolutely beautiful and she just wanted to see Eren's face when she walks down the aisle.

She told Historia " How do I look?." Historia replies back " You look absolutely stunning and Eren is so lucky to have you to become his wife."
Mikasa replies "Thanks Historia and yeah, he is extremely lucky to have me, so are we ready to get married." Historia said "Yeah, of course we are."

Then Mikasa and Historia headed towards the castle. Mikasa was getting very excited and nervous because she couldn't believe that she is getting married to Eren today and she was heading to the castle to where is all going to happen soon.

Meanwhile everyone was starting to arrive at the castle for wedding of Eren and Mikasa with all of their friends attending as bridesmaids and groomsmen. Eren has started to arrive at the castle with Armin and he was still having second thoughts about the wedding but Armin was there to keep up his spirits and none of this had seemed to be working at the moment.

Eren and Armin started to walk down to the altar and Armin asked Eren "Are you alright, Eren?" Eren replies back to Armin by saying "I am absolutely fine, Armin, you don't have to worry about me." But Armin was not so sure about the response that was just given to him by Eren. So Armin decided to put on a happy face and carry on like everything was fine. Then both of them stood at the altar very anxious and waiting for Mikasa to arrive.

Meanwhile, Mikasa was arriving at the castle with Historia, when she got to the steps of the castle, she was getting extremely nervous but excited at the same time because the next time she comes out of the castle, she would be married to Eren. She and Historia started to walk up to the castle steps and walked inside the castle to where her cousin Levi was standing and waiting impatiently for her to arrive. He eventually spoke and said "You look nice." Mikasa then said to him "Erm, thanks I guess." Levi put his arm out and then Mikasa took hold of his arm, she was getting nervous but she was ready to get married.

The doors eventually opened up and the music started. Mikasa couldn't barely breathe because she couldn't believe that this was actually happening to her. She lifted up her head and she saw Eren waiting for her at the bottom of the aisle, she was so happy to see him again but Eren was the exact opposite of how Mikasa was feeling because he was getting extremely nervous, Armin could see all of this emotion right in front of him and he didn't know what to do.

As Mikasa started to get nearer to the altar she was getting more and more nervous because she couldn't believe that she is getting married to the love of her life.

When she finally arrived at the altar, she just stopped and looked at Eren with a happy face. Then Eren said "I'm sorry." He just ran back out the doors. Mikasa said "Eren wait." She ran right after him with the rest of their friends.

She was eventually outside the castle entrance shouting "Eren, Eren where are you." There was no answer. Mikasa then collapsed onto the castle steps in floods of tears. She was crying for Eren to come back. All of their friends were outside and they are saw Mikasa in tears and they all came to comfort her and then Armin and Levi headed off to find Eren.

While them two headed off, the others were with Mikasa trying to calm her down but it was impossible. She told Historia "What have I done to him?" Historia said "You haven't done anything wrong, Mikasa." Mikasa said "Why did he just run off as soon as I got to the altar." Historia replies "I don't know but don't worry, Armin and Levi will get him back." Mikasa replies back to her " I hope so."

Armin and Levi were looking all around town and then they saw Eren sitting down on a bench with his head in his hands. Armin shouted "Hey Eren." Eren looked up and saw this best friend and his fiancee's cousin running towards him. He said " Hey guys what's up?" Levi tells him in an angry mood "Why did you just do that, my cousin absolutely loves you and adores you and you just leave her like that, you don't deserve her." Eren explains "I was just having second thoughts on the marriage and now I feel absolutely bad about what I just did to her." Then Eren started to cry "What can I do to make it up to her?" Armin said to him "I think that you should get back to the castle and marry Mikasa." Eren then rose up from the bench and thanked Armin and Levi for convincing him to go back.

Meanwhile everyone were still outside the castle with Mikasa and then they looked up and they saw Eren, Armin and Levi coming towards them. Then Mikasa looked up and she was so happy to see Eren that she just ran up towards him and gave him a huge hug. Eren apologised to Mikasa "Sorry, I am so sorry." Mikasa replies "Don't worry about it, you're here now."

Then everyone headed off back into the castle to continue with the wedding. Eren and Mikasa walked up the aisle together towards the altar. The priest came up to the two of them and then told everyone to sit down. The priest then asked Eren, Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He replied back by saying " I do." Then the priest then asked Mikasa "Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" She replied back quickly " I do."

Eren then looked at Armin and asked Armin to give him the rings. Armin gives Eren the rings. Eren then opens up the box with the rings in it. He took one of the rings out of the box and slides it onto Mikasa's finger and then he hands over the other ring to Mikasa and she then slides it onto his finger. Both of them stood looking at each other happily. The priest then said "I now pronounce you man and wife and you may now kiss the bride." Mikasa couldn't wait and she ran up to Eren and they both kissed romantically.

They both turned round to face their friends and they were all cheering for them as soon as they walking back up the aisle as husband and wife. Mikasa said to Eren "I love you, Mr Jaeger." He replied back "I love you too, Mrs Jaeger." Mikasa could not believe that she is finally married to the love of her life.
