Fell by David Clement-Davies
A dusty book on the bottom shelf was all the collection of pages were. My fingers barely glazed it when I felt the pull. It’s vibrant blue shades sent a shock through my body. I slowly slipped my fingers into the book cover before pulling it out. The wolf on the cover stared at me, as if reading into my soul. My fingers fell over the indented title, Fell. A silly fantasy story at first glance would normally make me set it back into the nook; but I decided to give the mysterious wolf a chance. This book, a mere collection of glued together pages, would change my life. Just like it can change yours.
Fell was just another kerl, lone wolf, except he was different. A pelt of pure black, a mysterious past, and an amazing power made him an outlaw. Even if he wanted the packs, he couldn’t control The Sight. The power to control people and see into the future. When his deceased sister contacts him through the power and tells him there is a child who will change his destiny, he quickly sets out on a mission. During the journey, Fell finds a series of crucial, mysterious clues that lead to a conclusion no one thought possible.
This book will change everything: your life, your destiny & your inner sight. The way David describes it is in such vivid, hidden description it will have you in tears. A mixture of romance, friendship, loyalty and inner beauty is shown throughout the story as the child and the wolf find themselves and their destiny. David will have you on your toes flipping the pages to get to the ending.
I wish I could read this book for the first time over and over again. Fell is worth the read. Everytime I think of this story I’m forcing myself to stand up again and take on a new path. A new destiny.
