I sit under this wondrous tree,

The cool breeze must be in love with me. Soon, beautiful pink petals start to fall from the sky.

One petal catches me by surprise.

I turn my head in playful laughter,

You caught me off guard the moment after.

To open my blink with a flash of your face, was like the gods offering a piece of grace.

And like a mortal I just sat there,

Releasing my breath, locked in my stare.

I had no idea what to do,

I jumped right up, I followed you.

After five miles of silent thrills,

I found myself surrounded by hills.

It was then that I had only looked back,

To realize, I have no idea where I'm at!

But when I turned right round,

There you were, standing on my ground. You said something I didn't understand, then it all made sense when you took my hand.

Rushed with such happiness I began to glow,

The only feeling I'm afraid to show.

I covered my face to try to hide,

Then it hit me, I'm dreaming inside my mind.

I turn to you to see if it's true,

The look on your face expressed why the color of sad is blue.

I tried to breathe, but it was too late,

I could already feel myself begin to wake. And by the time I reached for your hand,

I opened my eyes to see that the cool breeze was just my bedroom fan.
