*beep beep*
The sound of the alarm coming from your phone and the sun creeping from your window indicated that it was time to wake up. You shifted under the covers, you huffed and sat up, you reached for your phone from the night stand and checked the time 6:30. Rubbing your eyes you leave your bed and head to the bathroom with your towel in hand.
Once inside, you placed the towel aside and began stripping of your pajamas. You twisted the knobs to regulate the temperature of the water, and once it was perfect you went inside. The warmth of the water caressed every inch of your body instantly getting you to wake up fully.
When you were done you wrapped the soft lavender piece of cloth around your figure. You walked out of the bathroom and sat in the vanity right in front of your bed. You plugged in the hair drier and fired you short hair, then you grabbed your favorite lotion and applied some on your hands and gently cover you body in it.
You finished getting ready, picking something simple to wear, skinny jeans and a loose hoodie. Lastly, you applied some light make up to cover the blemishes in your face. You grabbed your college bag from the small sofa in front of your bed and walked outside to the kitchen.
Your roommate was in the kitchen already, the smell of coffee and toast woke your appetite.
"It smells so nice in here." You say sniffing the air once more. Your roommate smiles, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Help yourself, here's some peanut butter." She points to a jar filled with delicious creamy butter, you leave your bag in one of the stools and walk to a cabinet to get your mug. The coffee is fresh and barely brewed, you fill your mug and add some creamer. In the table, there's a small tower of toasts. You grabbed the one at the top. You slathered some butter on it and took one bite. The creamy consistency of the butter, and the warm feeling of the bread never fail to make you smile. A combination that never goes wrong.
The both of you finished having breakfast and headed out of the dorms. As you were walking you could see all of the new students, thankfully this was your last year.
"I'll see you later y/n." Your roommate had to go to her class, you said your goodbyes and she walked away. You just kept walking, your class didn't start in another 30 minutes so you had a lot of spare time. You decided to sit at a table near the big campus cafeteria.
"Y/NNNN!!!" Your head spun around towards the voice. Your best friend was running in your direction with their arms open, your face lit up as soon as you saw them and you stood up and stretched your arms too.
"Chae!!!!" You crashed into each other's embrace, she had the biggest smile on her face and so did you.
"We haven't seen each other in so long! How was your summer?" Chae asked, loosening her grip. You both walked back to where you were sited and continued talking. You checked the time on your phone 8:25. The time to get to class was nearing.
"I have to get to class soon. What about you?"
"I'll take you to your class." You nodded smiling and grabbing your bag. You both headed to your class, you found out that you'll be in the same class. That made everything better and you knew that this years was going to be great.
