Chapter 5

Levi and Hanji split up to look for you, you weren't in your room, you weren't in the halls, and you weren't anywhere at all in the HQ building.

Levi was starting to get worried, then he remembers your favorite place, which is under the big tree.

He ran through the grass meowing for you until he finally found you.

He walked up to you and saw you.....crying! Levi was worried and quickly leaned against you. You picked up your head to see a cat next to you.

"Oh, there you are, I-I didn't s-see you there." 

Levi couldn't really hear you because you were sobbing, but he wanted to know why you were crying.

"I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to hurt his feelings." Hurt? Levi thought, you must be talking about Eren.

"When h-he confessed to me, I-I told him that I liked someone else, a-a-and I said the captain, he j-just looked at me and asked i-if I was joking. But i wasn't I-I really love the captain, he was everything to me.

Levi was blushing now that you were saying this in person.

"But, he got mad at me, he asked why I liked the captain, and I did, he yelled at me and told me that I was heartless, cold, weird, and s-stupid, just like captain Levi."

Levi was angry, Eren saying things like that to you, you didn't deserve that, he wanted to hug you but he was still in his cat form, so he just layed next to you and purred.

"I bet the captain doesn't like me, I'm useless, weak, ugly, and heartless.."

.........

"I had enough."

"W-who said that?"

"I had enough!!!!" Levi screamed, he leaped toward you and put his cat lips on yours.

Levi turned back to normal, his hands blocking you, his legs tangled in yours, his face inches away from yours.

"C-c-c-c-captain!" you were blushing madly, if Levi was the cat, then he must've heard everything.

"U-u-um, I didn't mean what I said, I-I-I-I was just joking, sir I was-"

Levi shushed you with his finger, then he put you on the ground and now he was on top
of you.

"Y/n.....I...I l-love you." you laid there in shock.

"I never got to tell you this, but it's true, ever since you said that you would be on my side no matter what, I felt warmth inside my body, I loved you ever since that day. You said that I was your friend...and no one has ever said that to me in person."

You stared at him for a while.

"B-but how could you love me, I'm ug-"

"DON'T START WITH THAT SHIT!!! Y/n, don't say things like that to yourself, your beautiful, smart, brave in fact fearless, and your kind hearted, you mean something to me, you mean everything to me, and if you don't see that then I'll show you, I don't have to tell you, but show you that I love you just the way you are! Everytime you're gone it just lets me know how much I need you here with me, when you told me that you were my friend....I told myself that I would never let you go, that I would protect you, and when I saw you get injured on that expedition, and Erwin telling me to leave you, something inside me told me to save you, a feeling that I never had on anyone, I had to keep my promise, I had to bring you back!! So don't tell me your ugly, I don't want you to say that.....ever!!!.......When first falling for you I thought you were perfect, but know seeing that your not, makes me love you even more. I love you Y/n, I love you for who you are.
