MAJOR PLOT TWIST WARNING
Dr. Dale put her stethoscope on Millie's chest.
"So where are we thinking we're going to have the baby?" Dr. Dale asked. Millie looked at Baylee but Baylee just continued looking at her and holding her hand.
"I'm not entirely sure yet." Millie said.
"Well do you have an idea?" Dr. Dale asked.
"No not yet." Millie said. Dr. Dale set the stethoscope on Millie's belly.
Dr. Dale put the stethoscope away and put her gloves on.
"Can you move your hips or?" she asked.
"No." Millie said.
"Can you push with your...?" Dr. Dale asked.
"Yeah. It's just my legs that don't work." Millie said. Dr. Dale nodded and pushed Millie's legs apart and pulled her underwear down. Baylee didn't like it one bit and neither did Millie.
"I'm going to have to feel you push so I'm going to ask you to lay or sit however you might give birth." Dr. Dale said.
"Oh um..." Millie had to think a minute before she laid onto her side.
"Alright someone hold her leg up." Dr. Dale demanded and the assistant did since Baylee didn't dare leave Millie's side or let their hands not hold. Dr. Dale slid a finger up Millie and Millie jumped and gripped hard on Baylee.
"Alright Millie I need you to push with all your might." Dr. Dale said. "so hard your breathe is a little out and you grunt." she said. Millie sighed and went for it and did perfectly.
"It's a bit early to decide but I would keep in mind a caesarian birth is an option." Dr. Dale said pulling her hand out. Baylee sat Millie up who sat up and hugged her around the waist. Baylee got Millie's underwear and pants on as the doctors left. Millie had tears in her eyes.
"Hey. Hey you did great." Baylee said and tucked Millie's hair behind her ears. Millie was staring at the ground and her lip was quivering a little bit.
Baylee caressed Millie's face.
"Hey, let me see those eyes." Baylee said. Millie's wet brown eyes met Baylee's and tears fell.
"I- I'm not going to be able to do this." Millie said and her voice broke. Baylee hugged her and Millie let it all out.
"It's going to be ok Mills." Baylee said hugging her tight. Baylee picked her up and set her in her wheelchair but Millie wouldn't let her go so Baylee carried her and picked up the wheelchair.
When they got home Baylee carried her to her room and set Millie down.
"Hey what do you say we go get an ice cream?" Baylee said.
"Let's do it." Millie sniffled.
Baylee smiled and scooped her up. They got on the motorcycle and headed out even though it was beginning to get dark. They ate and on their way out ran into trouble. A guy was dragging Tess by her wrist to the back of the building.
"Hey! Hey let her go!" Baylee ran after them carrying Millie on her back. When Baylee ran around the back a guy through her down making she and Millie fall.
"Dibs on the disabled one. She'll put up the least of a fight when we tear her open." a boy smiled. Baylee made a growl noise then spun around and stood and STAB.
She had three claws coming out of her hand that went straight through his heart. She yanked her hand out and then spun and stabbed the one that was trying to get on top of Millie then the one that was on Tess. She pulled her claws in.
"Did she see anything?!" Tess barked.
"You-" Millie breathed as Baylee scooped her up and as she did they saw John from school running off.
Baylee kept walking she set Millie on the bike and got on.
When she got to Millie's house, Baylee picked her up went inside set her on the bed and went to leave.
"Hey. Hey come back!" Millie got louder and Baylee froze.
"Don't you even think you're just going to leave me with no explanation." Millie scolded. Baylee came back over and sat on the edge of the bed.
"You're... you're like the people they warn us about on TV... your an inhuman..." Millie said.
Baylee stayed silent. Millie managed her way over to Baylee's side.
"Babe..." Millie said and tilted Baylee's face at her.
Baylee looked dead almost.
"Baylee please. I won't tell a soul and you know that as well as I do." Millie said.
"The rumors... about dad... he never stabbed anyone to death it was me. Now I suggest you accept the fact I'm a freak and stay away." Baylee said. Millie grabbed her hand before she could get away.
"No. No your not. And you damn well aren't about to leave me. I loved you before I knew and I still love you. So so much. You have no idea how you've turned my life around for the better. I was lonely and I was a miserable soul then you came along... you've made me feel and believe things I thought could never be true. I thought life was just a drag and trying to get through everyday until my useless body died finally. Than you came along and let me tell you, every time your not right next to me I feel empty and alone as possessive as that sounds." Millie said meaning every word.
Baylee rolled onto Millie and kissed her.
"You'll never know how much I love you Millie Brown." Baylee said. Millie wrapped her arms around Baylee's neck.
