8. Fake

     Gila and I came out of the art room and headed towards my car. Many people had already gone home, so I didn't bother to check for my friends in the class. I saw Cassandra standing by my car. I tended up. Gila gave me that her cute smirk, trying to remind me of our deal. I quickly held her hands as we approached the car. Cassandra looked at me, and then our hands.
"Will... I've been waiting for you!!! Where have you been?" She asked me.
   I could still see her steal glances at my hands.
"Well, bestie. I was with Gila here. She's my new girl friend." I confessed.
     Cassandra's eyes popped out. I waited for her reaction. She stood agape for a while before she smiled.
"What!!! William!!! You never told me!!!" She screamed happily.

Gosh!!! This girl is something else!!!

She held Gila's hands happily.
"Am happy for you girl!!!" Cassandra turned to face me. She gave me a smudge on my shoulders. "You really are a bad boy!!! How could you not tell your own best friend???" She asked me.

Plans not working!!!

"Let's ride!!!" I grinned as I opened the car door.

Cassandra sat in the back seat, while Gila sat beside me, in front.

    Cassandra's POV
  William, William, William!!!! How could he???? I guess my pretense worked out perfectly. I confess, I was hurt when he told me about Gila. Gila of all people!!!!!!
   I sat down, thinking really hard. All he could do was talk with Gila and look at her while she laughed sheepishly.  Gila!!!!!!!! I feel like strangling her.
      I could feel my heart melting as I saw them looking happy. I buried my head in my hands as the journey continued.

Gila needs to pay for stealing my best friend!!!!

Wait....... Is that me talking or jealousy????

William parked the car.
"Cassy???" He called out softly. I was too sleepy to answer. It's really good to fake things, you know. I wasn't really asleep.

William whispered something to Gila, and she came down from the car and walked away. William came down also, but to carry me. We carried me from the car, while I held his neck with my hand, weakly.

   We entered the house.
I guess Mom wasn't around, because I noticed he took me straight to my room.

William's POV
Gosh!!!! She's too cute as she sleeps. I carried Cassandra into the house. No body is in the sitting room. I could hear noise from upstairs. Probably Kendra. I quietly carried Cassandra upstairs.
"Hey Kendra." I greeted when I got to her door. Few seconds later, Kendra was out of the room.
" Hey you. Wow.. She's really asleep. Well, am really busy now. You can drop her on her bed." Kendra said to me, as she waved me.
Bam!!!!! She shut the door. I sighed and walked towards Cassy's room.

Cassandra's POV
  William  came into my room and slowly layed me on my bed. He removed my shoes and tucked me in.

William's POV
    Cassandra lay on the bed. I turned to go. I couldn't. I turned back to her.
Damn!!!! She looked so beautiful when sleeping. I walked back to her, and sat down.

  Cassandra's POV
William wasn't planning on going out. And I'm really tired of faking sleep. William touched my hand lightly. I could feel my cheeks warm.

Who blushes while sleeping????

He caressed my hand slowly, and I could feel my heart exploding. Is this really my best friend???? Who on earth develops feelings for her best friend???

Wait.... What was that?????  Feelings????  I'm really going mad. This guy sees me as his best friend also, why am I thinking further???

William moved his hand to my neck.

Oh no!!! This is going bad!!!!!!

I tensed up. William stroked my hair. He hopped into the bed after awhile. Before I knew it, I was wrapped around with two muscle-full hands, the ones I'd like to be in forever.

William held me closely. I could feel his warm breathe on my neck. To be frank, I was getting turned on. Having a hot guy like William beside you meant a lot.

    Cassandra lay in my arms, sleeping peacefully. I slowly caressed her hair, while pecking her on her forehead.
Damn..  She's soo sweet
