She doesn't have those beautiful beach curls or waves, long silky black or brown hair that flows effortlessly on her shoulder. No tiny waist or gap between her tights. She wears glasses due to the fact that she has a poor vision. No prince charming nor a hot guy from the soccer team falling for her. She weighs more than 40kg and that is not a bad thing. Don't drink that coffee that cost more than 10 dollars. Her playlist consists of all type of music from the different types of genres so she is not the special kind. She has a group of friends yet she is the odd number one. Everyone walks in pairs while she is left behind. She constantly falls apart more than twice a day. She smeared inks on every page of her journal. She is not perfect. Not like those girls portrayed in the young adult novel you can get at the book store. When you asked her if she is okay, she replied with a smile and jokes about herself, like everything is okay - she saved many people yet no one tried to save her.'

************

Every morning she waked up and tell herself this; is today a good day to die?

She doesn't know when she starts asking herself that but every day it keeps getting worse. She looked at herself in the mirror and she hates it. Part of her love how she looks like just the way she is but the dark side win each and every time. She glances at the minimalist digital clock on her nightstand. 7:10. She held her breath as she opens the door and makes her way down to the kitchen. The smell of half-burned pancake filling the kitchen. She watched as her brother quickly flipped the pancake.

"You should use the small pan you know." She broke the silence.

"Haha, funny. I have been looking for it for hours. Where the hell did mom put it?"

"I guess, it is still in the box in the storage room."

"Yeah, I guess mom never use it either. Anyway, how many do you want?"

She shook her head. "Er, no thanks. I'll just finish my juice." Harriet sigh. He turned off the stove and sit across his sister. "What?"

"Nothing, it's just you have been eating less lately." he clears his voice. "It is not healthy you know, you should never skip a meal," he said as he sips his coffee.

"I know. It is just, I don't feel like eating, okay." he smiles a bit before nodding his head. "So, are you going to give me a ride to school or not?"

"Yeah, let me finish my coffee first. Go and wait in the car."

It was 10 minutes drive to reach her school. Harriet park in front of the school gate. "Listen, I have some football practice so,"

"It's fine, I could ask Naina for a ride back home" she cut him off.

"Cool, I love you okay. Take care of yourself." He planted a kiss on her forehead. He watched as her little figure disappears in the crowd of a student before driving away.

"Hestia!" a voice called her. Ais pounced on her. She had been waiting by the locker for a while now and gave Hestia quite a fright.

"Can't you greet me like a normal person?" Hestia blurted out as she opens her locker to take his art supplies. The first period is the art class with Mr. Nollan.

"It's normal okay. By the way, did you hear about Naina?" Ais raised her eyebrow as she stared at Hestia. Looking by the puzzled look on Hestia's face, it means she didn't get the 'tea' yet.

"What is wrong with her?"

Naina is one of their friends. She is the old soul and model type. With that tall and slender body figure, they knew she could be a model in the future. Plus, she is the head cheerleader for their school and admired by almost every single boy in the soccer team.

"You know that she and Drey had a break during last summer," she nodded, waiting for Ais to finished her sentence. "Well, now she had a thing with Q'd but, you know him, he had been cheating on her with Mia."

"Gosh, did Naina know about it?" Ais nodded. "So how is she doing?"

"I don't know, she hasn't returned any of my calls or replies to any of my text."

They both make their way toward the art room.  Mr. Nollan is still not there. Hestia makes her way to the back of the class followed by Ais. As soon as she takes a seat, she reached out for her phone and start texting Naina.

Hestia: Hey, babe. I heard about what happened, are you okay?

A few minutes later her phone buzzed.

Naina: I'm fine. I am skipping school today. Thanks for asking.

Hestia: I could swing around your house later today after school. Do you need anything?

Naina: A big box of donut and a tube of ice cream, please.

Hestia chuckled. She shoved her phone back in the pocket as Mr.Nollan entered the class.

'It's just another day, just 7 more hours to get yourself through.'
