I was made out of lust and blind love
Conceived out of duty and hopelessness
Filled with light and pure innocence
Flourished into a bundle of joy and happiness
A mind filled with freedom and exploration
A childhood filled with Glee and fascination
Out lookers looking in with adoration
But the innocence wasn't meant to last, until the end of times
The freedom only an illusion
Illuminated by bright white lies
And chains of thick gold crusted vines
10 years old, 11 years old, 12 years old
An evaporation of a spiral cycle
Forced to leave a magical world behind
Filled with fairytale and make believe and a coat of protection
To emerge into a word
Filled with betray, pain and corruption
No resources but high expectations
For the sucklings and youths of tomorrows generation
Unknownly tainted
Your purity taken
Mocked for your innocence
In a society filled with soul sucking demons
A world filled with predators and leeches
Pressured but yet neglected
Feeling like I should overdose
Or cut until my red River flows undetected
Why should a 12,13,14,15,16 or 17 year old mind be plagued by death and suicide
To the point where it seems to be the only door for a cure or solution
A mind riddled with why's , eyes with no tears left to cry
Or a hardened heart and blocked mind that won't allow the tortured to cry
A walking dead amongst the living in daylight, waiting to slayed or
finally resurrected
Void of the times filled with joy and happiness
Now consumed and haunted by failure, death, pain and hopelessness
Falling into a bottomless pit with vampires and demons
While the world spins, not noticing that your light and soul has been taken
And when you're gone, loud piercing screams and questions, why are our youths are being untimely taken
