A New Input (Reader x Neptune)

Ch. 1: Need

Hello and welcome to my second Reader x Character fanfic! I had a hard time getting this one going, but after I figured out how to start it, I really got into the zone. Here's what came of that zone,

You looked at the massive crowd that had gathered to watch as the four CPU's for each region signed the peace treaty, or the "Friendship Treaty" as your CPU called it. The CPU's were the leaders of the four territories. The four leaders were Blanc who led Lowee, Noire who led Lastation, Vert who led Leanbox, and finally, Neptune, the leader of your home, Planeptune. Neptune looked like an 18 year old girl with short purple hair, and her childish voice didn't help. It didn't matter though, all of Neptunia loved her anyway.

You were on edge, there was a huge treaty to be signed, and all four CPU's would be there, along with their sisters, except for Leanbox, because Vert didn't have a sister. As much as you looked forward to seeing your buddies from the other nations guard, you also knew how easily and quickly it was for something to go horribly wrong. You heard a knock at your door.

"Come in"

It was Neptune, checking in on you before you went out. Over the years you had worked for her, you had become quite close,  almost like siblings. In essence, you were sibling. As part of the royal guard program, the personal guard of the CPU was chosen at an extremely young age and grew up with the CPU to give a bond between the guard and the CPU. You secretly had a massive crush on her, but you knew you could be fired if anybody found out, as it was against the code for a CPU and her guard to be wed. Nobody knew her as well as you did, except for her younger sister, Nepgear, and she wasn't ready to fight, as she couldn't transform.

"Hey (f/n), how are you feeling"

"You know, the usual butterflies"

"We both know you can't lie to me. What's wrong?"

You sigh.

"I am scared that there will be someone who gets past all the guards and hurt you."

She comes and sits down next to you.

"I've known you since you were five, and you have never let anyone suspicious even close to me. I'll be fine."

You smile

"You forgot one strange person who got close to you"

She thinks for a minute, confused

"Who?"

"ME!!"

You put her in a friendly headlock and start giving her a noogie (I just realized how weird of a word 'noogie' is.  It just looks and sounds wrong! Aaaaah!).

"Stop that!" she laughs.

"NEVER!!! MUHAHAHA!"

"If you two are done giving each other noogies (STILL ANNOYING), Neptune has a peace treaty to sign" Nepgear pokes her head in.

You release Neptune and she punches you playfully in the shoulder, and you act like she hurt you more

"Careful, I can't protect you if you hurt me"

"Suck it up you big baby"

"Well if you're asking me then I guess I will"

Nepgear sighs and gets ready to join her friends. On your way out, Neptune whispers in your ear

"I have something to tell you after the ceremony"

Before you can respond, she hurries off to get in her position to sign the treaty. Nepgear pops her head in on her way out

"(f/n), let's go!"

"Coming!"

You stand up and head out.

So, you've met your 'family' and Neptune has something to tell you. I think you all know what it is. Sorry for the shorter chapters, but I started this series two days before my decided deadline for this series, which is Monday. I am still working on my painwheel x reader,  but had extra time so I decided to start what my friend Relentlezz41 said, write two stories at once! Well he actually said that it made it a lot more hectic, but where's the fun in not very hectic! Love y'all, and I will see you Friday!
