Minho's P.O.V.
My mother still didn't like my choice. She didn't forget to remind me before she left, but that was something I'd have to deal with. I looked in the mirror while doing my tue. First day of my last year of high school. I was finally a senior and I didn't have Yoongi next to me to watch my every steps. It was pretty exciting! Pick up your backpack young lady, class would start soon.

I almost ran to my locker when I saw who was waiting by it. "Jackson! Joonie! Finally class is starting again!" I hugged them both.

Jackson laughed. "Not sure school is a good thing."

I rolled my eyes. "It is because we're in the same class you idiot."

"How did it go with your mom?" Joon had to ask.

I smiled. "Horribly, but let's not talk about that and go to class shall we?"

Needless to say, I was up for a strange yet entertaining class. "Hello everyone! I'm Miss Young and I'll be your history teacher for the year. Let's begin with the presence.." She went on and on until.. "Joo Minho. Joo?"

I raised my hand. "Here miss."

She looked at me. "Where are you from?"

What a weird question.. "Daegu. Why?"

She didn't seem to understand. "I rarely heard your last name. Compared to other common ones.. Your family name's story is rather unknown."

I frowned. "Well I'm sorry about that?"

She laughed. "Don't mind me. I did my doctorate studying aristocratic families and it is only then that I first met your name. Let's not get distracted! You can stay after class if you want to know more."

Wow. She knew more about my family than I did myself.
"Weird welcome huh?" Joonie mentioned.

I sighed. "Tell me about it.."
People were proud of their family names, mostly those who were of warrior decent like the Kim, Park and Lee family. Aristocracy was less common and mostly devided between servants or emperor's dog and the traitors. I wasn't sure whether or not my name was honourable.  Mostly depended on people's opinion. That didn't stop me from wanting to learn more. I wasn't alone on this one. "What do you know about my family miss?"

She chuckled. "Caught your attention?"

"A little.. I mean. I'm adopted so I know nothing about my family." I said frankly.

She sat on her desk. "And what are these gentlemen doing here?"

Joonie bowed down. "We just want to hear. We're her friends. Makes us curious."

Namjoon's P.O.V.
I knew she had something on her mind that was more important than anything. It's a question she often aboarded with me. Not deeply, but she had mentioned it quite a lot. She wanted to know who she was.

Our teacher spoke up. "Very well, Minho. The Joo family served the emperor of Baekje, modern Seoul, as its writer. Father to son did this for centuries. They were skilled with words. They wrote like their King spoke, gracefully yet harshly."

Minho frowned. "Father to son? What about the daughters?"

"They never had daughters. At least, not until we stopped giving attention to this aristocratic family." She explained.

Minmin seemed so deceived. "Oh.. Alright. Thanks a lot." She picked up her bag and we left together to our next class. "Seoul huh?"

"What are you thinking about?" Jackson asked.

She took her notebook out. "I know why I can't find info in Daegu now. The Joo family is from Seoul.."

"That was a century ago- Ouch!" I slapped Jackson behind the head. "What?"

I whispered. "Shut it.."

She sighed. "No, he's right. I shouldn't get my hopes up."

She didn't talk during the whole class. I bit my inner cheek when she was still silent at lunch. "Minho."

Her head rose up. "Yeah?"

"Your new haircut, it's pretty." I tried. It did fit her well.

She smiled passing a strand of hair behind her ear. "You don't have to try and cheer me up you know? But thanks." She took out her sketchbook. "It's not important. I just wish to learn something new you know?"

I sat closer to her. "Something new about you. You want to know where you are from. I totally get that."

She glued her eyes to her book. "Doesn't matter does it? Only track I have is centuries old. My mother says she knows nothing and that they keep no information from their parents. Not even the birth certificate. Said it's private."

It was a rough couple of days for her, yet she acted like she didn't care. That's where she took after Yoongi. "I can help you search for it if you want."

She closed her book. "Forget it. I'm just bound to stay in blank. All I can do is focus on the present."

I made eye contact with Jackson. He understood and pat her back. "Look, maybe we can't find much except history books, but at least you have us right? We can change your mind from it. What do you think?"

She nodded. "It sounds good, I'm just trying to figure out how to fix it with my mother too. She thinks I'll get killed if I work with the police.. In any form."

He frowned. "That's insane."

"She thinks I'll die like her friend." I said coldly. "She was an investigator and an infiltrator for the national police." She looked at me. "It won't happen to me, but I can't convince her. What can I do?"

I wrapped my arm around her and she laid her head on my shoulder. "We'll figure it out. I promise we'll find how to reassure her." Sadly, the only idea I had to reassure her mother was time, but to reassure her it'd be okay, I had an idea. "Hey.. How about this Friday afternoon, after school, we go to the trick eye museum huh? All three of us, we can even see of Hobi hyung can come."

She glanced up. "Are you trying to bribe me with a museum visit?"

I met her eyes. "Depends? Is it working?"

She smiled. "Yeah it is."

I chuckled. "Then yes I am."
