I've never been big on moving to new places, but unfortunately, it happened. It was my 7 year old sister, named Brooklyn, who knew anything and everything about world history and famous peoples lasts names. My six foot, very athletic mom that cared about two things: my sister and I, and finally me. I am a 15 year old girl who is not like any other teenage girl. I hate going shopping with my friends and being around immense groups of people; I would rather be at home with my best friend, Maria, either obsessing about boy bands or reading John Green and Ellen Hopkins books while listening to our favorite kind of music. Oh, by the way my name is Annabelle Grayson.

The only crisis in my life is when I was younger, and my sister was just born, my father turned mad and threatened my mother and his very own daughters, that he will kill us. At that very, moment my mom packed up all of our possessions and we got away from that man as far as we could. Unfortunately, the house I spent the rest of my life in and the same town I meet my best friend, well my only friend, is also the same town my mom's mad ex-boyfriend lives in, it's weird he also threatened to kill us too, but he also we a drug addict.

So here we are, the three of us in my mom's car with all of our stuff moving very far away. This was the second time and hopefully the last. I had a hard time leaving my best friend but I will get through it. We are currently in Birmingham, Alabama but the new house we are moving to is in Destin, Florida. My mom wanted a large city to live in so that neither of those evil men could find us. I just have a bad feeling in my gut that somehow they will. "Since it is summer, neither of start school anytime soon," said my mother while driving down the unfilled highway at four a.m. My sister was halfway asleep in the backseat while my mother and I were wide awake. We didn't tell Brooklyn why we were leaving because we didn't want to scare her. My mom still hasn't told her about dad. All she is knows is that dad forty- three and living with his parents, sounds like a big winner to me, not really. I wish my mom would find better guys to have a family with. After that thought I was fell into a slumber in the passenger seat.

My mother woke me and my sister up when we got to the new home in Destin. Since Destin is such a fun and colorful city, of course the house was a bright yellow with an electric blue door. When we walked into the door, I was in complete shock. The house looked like a sixty year old grandma decorated the house. It had twenty year old appliances and tacky furniture. It was a nice house but I would have gone for something a little newer and not so bright. There were a million doors and windows in this new house too. That worried me. Ever since my past with mad people, I always find things around me that could possible kill me.

Later that night when I was about to go to bed my mother got a call on her cell phone. Although my mother taught me good manners, I listened to whoever was on the phone with her and her conversation. It was my dad. That very much scared me. He said on the phone with my mother, that he knew where we were and that he still remembers what he said on the day we left. That made me heart race. My father was out there and ready to kill me, my mother, and my sister. Then all of a sudden he said, "I don't want to kill the baby or you, I don't want to kill any of you anymore, I want the girl, Annabelle."

Right at that instant I dropped everything that was in my arms and I started crying and getting very concerned. I didn't want to even see that man, and he wanted me! I couldn't believe it! My mom looked over at me and saw my appearance and she knew right then that I knew what he just said. My mother dropped the phone and ran over too me. She yelled at my sister to bundle up all of her things again and that we were leaving right then and there. My heart wasn't racing anymore it was throbbing in my chest. The next thing I knew I was laying on the cold, hard ground. I had passed out, but right before I passed out, I heard he front door swing open and a couple gun shots.

I woke up and had no evidence where was. I was petrified out of my mind. Out of nowhere I heard what sounded like a door but more like a prison cell door. I knew, he had taken me and killed my mother and my sister. I didn't cry, my heart didn't start to race because I knew if I wanted to survive, I would not have any time for those things. I had to be tough and bold. "So how is my little princess?" He asked me. I didn't answer. Next thing I knew I was being thrown down to the ground by my lavender hair and smashing my heads on the cold, hard floor. I just stood up, I still wasn't crying and I still was not scared. He looked at my straight in the eye and spat, "You are not the same little girl that I used to know, you're stronger. I don't like it." And with that I smirked, and his face dropped. I pulled out my cell phone and dialed those three little numbers. He then now was petrified.

A couple minutes later, the police showed up and the horrific man I knew has my father was taken to be put in prison. The officers took me to my house where there laymy mother and sister, lifeless. My heart dropped. Then I knew it was time to be fragile, I could be vulnerable. Two out of the three people I treasured the most were dead and the other one was miles away. I was brokenhearted.

It is now three years today that my mother and sister died and I was taken. I was visiting their graves, when all of a sudden I felt two large, muscular hands on me. I was my mother's crazy ex-boyfriend. All I heard was, "I knew I would find you here." The next thing I knew, I was taken, again.
