5 am, I entered my room, seeing Sao sleeping on my bed. Harry brought me home, all the way here was pure silence, neither me or him said anything. Both shocked I guess, even him, after what happened.
I decided to not wake Sao up, I was too tired to talk about what happened, actually.. I needed to talk about everything with Sao, tell her about Harry, Cody and the others.
With my pajamas on, I lay beside Sao and try to sleep, but that scene only repeats in my head. Am I a witch just like my mother? But why my eyes were black? I need to talk to my mother and soon.
I just couldn't sleep, now, 10 am and my mom was awake already. I need talk to her but first, I need talk to Sao and that's why I'm watching tv in my room while I wait for her to wake up.
"Girrrl.. when did you get back?"
"I got home five hours ago." I say still watching tv.
"10 am.. you got here 5 am? What the?? Ok.. and what did you find?"
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, what if she doesn't believe me?
"Ray.." I could feel she moving and now sitting in front of me. "Tell me.. what's wrong?"
I opened my eyes, seeing her and feeling the tears in my eyes.
"Sao, I need to tell you everything, since our trip"
"Ok.. go on."
I told her everything, about the vampires, my mother and what I did hours ago. She was there staring at me with wild eyes.
"Please believe me.." I beg her crying already.
She only pulled me in a tight hug, letting me cry on her shoulder.
"You don't even need to ask me that, of course I believe you Ray. But what the vampires want with you?" She says in a low voice while hugging me.
"I don't know Sao, Harry told me to never talk to Cody and his friends again and I don't even know why!" She hugged me even tighter.
"We'll find why, but now, you need to talk to aunt Anna.. ok? And tell her about what happened this night."
She broke our hug only to wipe my tears with her fingers.
"Let's go downstairs and have breakfast, you need to eat." Sao pulled me from my bed.
We entered in the kitchen, seeing my brother drinking his hot chocolate and my mother, drinking her coffee.
"Oh Sao dear, I didn't know you slept here. Come here, have breakfast with us!" My mom smiles at Sao, she always treated Sao as her daughter too.
"How could I deny your delicious coffee, aunt Anna?" Sao says sitting besides my mom and hugging her.
"Did you girls sleep well?"
Sao stared at me in a few seconds of silence before answering my mother.
"Ahn.. yeah aunt Anna, even listening some noises coming from Rafael's bedroom."
Rafael almost choked on his hot chocolate, making me furrow my brows.
"Rafael, what.. are you okay?" I ask, seeing my brother coughing.
"Y-yes, I... I was on my xbox and let my glass of water fell, that's all." He said without look at us.
This boy is so weird.
"Yeah.. sure." Sao said, not believing in his words.
What's happening here?
"So, Ray.. why did you go out last night?" Rafael asked me almost laughing.
He was changing the subject, son of a...
"WHAT? Ravenna did you-," My mother said looking at me, then she looked at Sao. "That's why did you sleep here, right?"
"Ahn.. I need to go now aunt Anna, I'll see you later Ray." Sao got up from the table, smiling softly at me. "And you too Rafael" She narrows her eyes to him then walking away.
"And me, I have school so... I'm going to take my things and go." Rafael kissed my our mother's cheek before walking towards his room.
"Mom.. I need to talk to you." I take a sip of my coffee, feeling the anxiety trying to take over my body.
"Sure you need, what did you do last night?" Her voice was strong even calm.
"Mom, I-" Before I could even start telling her everything, there's a noise coming from Rafael's room.
"What is that boy doing now?" My mom asks to herself.
"I'll check it, I'll be right back." I get up from the table, going to my brother's room when I stopped in front of his door, there's a noise again.
"Come on!" I hear my brother's voice.
What?
"Rafael, what-" I say opening his door but I lost my words.
There he was, my brother stand by his window, moving his hands towards his flying backpack, when he saw me, the backpack fell to the floor.
"Rafa-"
"Ray please.." His eyes were wild.
"You.. too?" I whispered.
"What.. can you do it too?" He asked with a shocked face.
Whatever I was, my brother was it too.
