Chapter One

Chater One

{Elizabeth's POV}

I was always raised with everything I could ever want, Toy's, Friends, and kind loving parents and siblings who adored me. My younger sister Addison was my pride and joy she would always want to play, I would always feel guilty for having to turn her down. For mother and I were planning my wedding, My dear lover Elijah Mikaelson and I are getting married in two weeks! I had never been so happy. Unfortunately, this was not out of love but an arranged marriage put together by my mother, Eaden and Elijah's mother Ester. It's not as if I and Elijah were not fond of each other we do love each other very much but I guess the wedding is coming along quite quickly... My mother only wants the best for she has kept me safe, she is a Witch after all she and father have sworn to protect me through their magic. As I headed downstairs I was greeted by a welcoming face, the beautiful, handsome face of my soon to be husband. "Hello, Elijah. What a pleasant surprise to see you my love" I said as I held my hand out for him to take it. "The pleasure is all mine my dear" he replied as he took my hand up to his mouth to kiss.

Elijah's family was not quite as wealthy as my family but that didn't matter to us we loved each other and that's what mattered to mine and Elijah's mother. I could not dare include his father as he wouldn't give a damn in the world whether his son was in love or not all he thrived for was  strength. Nothing more.

I and Elijah had decided to take a walk in the fields near his home. The flowers around were certainly beautiful. As we continued our stroll we came across a lake. "Would you like to go for a swim, my dear?" I asked "My dear you are in a lovely dress why ruin it?" he replied "Oh. This is just one dress besides I have others. I just want to have some fun! Come on now!" I said as I ran towards the lake slipping off my shoes and jumping in. Elijah slowly following behind me. As we laughed a splashed each other with water the time had begun to go by so much quicker as it had become nightfall already.

"We best head home I don't need your mother to think you've gone missing now," He said helping me out of the water.

"Thank you so much, Elijah," I said reaching my hand out to touch his cold face. "For what my dear?" He asked confused for what he had done. "For this night of fun! I never get to do much as you know my mother has been suffocating me with wedding plans! I really needed a break." I said as we laughed together knowing we both agree that my mother is quite a perfectionist when it comes to planning.

At the Manor

"Thank you, Elijah, for walking me home," I said as I then placed a kiss on his cheek. "Would you like to come in?" I asked as I opened the door "You are surely welcomed to.," I said a smirk coming across my face. "I would love to my dear. But I am afraid I have to leave you." he said as I pouted "But where must you go I hope there is not another you are seeing. Is there? I asked praying that the love of my life surely wasn't cheating on me. "No. Of course not my love. There
could never be another, not when I have you." after he said that he was up and gone, to his family.

When I returned to my bedroom I had received a letter, from a friend of mine. Niklaus had written me a letter.

Dearest Elizabeth,

Hello love, I have heard 'round that you are marrying my brother I do believe I have also heard that you've been sleeping with him too. Unfortunately, I must inform you that my brother has been deceiving you behind closed door's keeping secrets of his Witch lover Tatia. She is far beautiful, sorry to say but even much more beautiful then you my dear. So sorry that it had to be this way. Sweet Dreams Love.

Niklaus

I was shocked and heartbroken, this could not be true. Elijah and I have been together for years, and now he's becoming fond with a Witch!

As I came along the Meadow where Elijah told me to meet with him I had noticed that he did not come alone, but with a woman, Tatia the damn witch. "Elijah. Who is this?!" I asked him infuriated with what she was doing here. "Elizabeth, this is Tatia the love of my life." this shocked me. "How could you say this after we just got married last Year!" I said angerly "You and I will never be together ever again Elizabeth, I don't love you. I love her" as he grazed his hand through the witches brown locks.

I ran. I ran as far as I could getting away from my trader of a husband. But where I ended up I had no clue where to turn to, lost in the woods, the middle of nowhere.

"Can I help you dear?" said a soft voice that still made me jump turning quickly only to see Ester there. Seeing her I quickly ran into her and she gave me a hug "what's wrong my child?" she asked me whilst stroking my hair. "Your son has been unfaithful to me, he's been cheating on me with another witch Ester!" I looked at her in the eye tear streaming down my drenched face "I want her dead Ester! Dead! Can you... Can you help me?" I asked hope glistening in my eye's "Yes I surely can help you to kill this girl. But I wish for something in return." she was bargaining with me "Yes? What is that Ester I'll do anything to be able to kill this witch" I pleaded her "I need a test subject for a spell I wish to try and preform, It would make you one of the strongest creatures on the planet, the first of it's kind." she said as she began to walk down a trail which I suppose led to her home as I then followed along with her. "Yes. I'll do it. Would it make me strong enough to kill the witch?" I asked she then came to a halt and turned to look at me "You can do more than just kill her. You can rip her to shreds and slowly destroy her." she said as she then continued "But there are some minor consequences with this transition my dear." she said continuing on the trail. "What kind of consequences?" I asked "You will no longer have the hunger for food. But the thirst for human blood. You will be allergic to the sun. And your emotions will skyrocket and become the most dreadful things to even bare until you've had enough that you will shut your emotions completely off." she said as we had the reached a silent village. "What if I wish to walk in the day," I asked "You will need a daylight ring, I can make you one," she said hurrying inside the home

Ester returned to me with Niklaus by her side. Along with candles, herbs, and a glass. "Niklaus my son, I need your blood for this spell I must perform." her son seemed confused "Why mother?" he asked clearly tired after being woken up. "I only need a little then you may return to bed." she then took out a knife and cut a slit down Niklaus's wrist and let the blood drip into the glass.

"Thank you Niklaus now go back to sleep" and he did. "I will need time to make this Human blood into Vampire Blood" A vampire I was going to be a vampire, It didn't matter to me what I was anymore as long as I could kill Tatia I was going to be happy again. Then Ester spoke again "One thing I forgot to mention you will have the power to control the will of other people. Be careful who you use it on dear." she warned as she then closed the door behind her
