I can't help falling in love with you

Chapter 1

Meredith's POV:
I groan as my alarm clock said 6:20 on it. I get out of my bed and go to the bathroom and wash my face and do the rest of my skincare routine. Next, I go and pick out my outfit and I decided to wear a white t-shirt, ripped jeans and my Birkenstocks. I go to my jewelry box and put on a simple necklace and put a ring on my index finger and added a scrunchie to my wrist. I go to my vanity and do some light makeup today then I grab my favorite perfume and spray myself. After I got ready I headed downstairs to get breakfast. Good morning Meredith my mother said. Good morning mommy I said. I hope you have an amazing first day Meredith I love you!! I love you too mommy. My mother is my best friend and if she died I don't know what I would do without her she is my rock and my inspiration. She is also the head of general surgery at Seattle Grace Hospital. Anyways, I grabbed a granola bar and a water and I head out the door to my car.

Derek's POV:
My alarm clock read 6:45 and I made the loudest groan. So I get up and go to the bathroom and wash my face and put moisturizer on. Next, I decided to go and get dressed I decided to wear a red t-shirt, ripped jeans, and white converse. After I got dressed I headed over to my desk and put some cologne on. I headed downstairs to make some breakfast and decided to make an pancakes . My mother walked in and she said good morning Derek are you ready for today! I said no but i want it to be summer already mom saying as I take the first bite of my delicious pancakes. I am done eating and I put my dishes in the sink then I grab my backpack and my mother tells me to have a wonderful day and be positive! I laughed and said I will mom.

Meredith's POV:
As I get to school I parked my car and get out my schedule and it said:
1st period- AP Physics
2nd period- AP English
3rd period- AP Calculus
4th period- Lunch
5th period- Study hall
6th period- Gym
7th period AP History
Wow!! I looked at my schedule and said am I in for a treat today! I got everything I needed out of my car and headed into school. I finally found my classroom and sat in the middle of the classroom. All of a sudden this really hot I mean hot guy walks into my classroom he is so dreamy but I will never get a chance with him he probably doesn't even like me.

Derek's POV:
As I arrived into the school I checked my schedule for the day.
1st period- AP Physics
2nd period- AP English
3rd period- Study Hall
4th period- Lunch
5th period- AP Calculus
6th period- Gym
7th period- AP History
I finally find my classroom and as I walk in I see this blonde haired girl and let me tell you she is so pretty and beautiful. I get the nerve to go up to her and talk to her and I said hello! She was startled and she said hello! Are you new here I asked? Yes she said I moved from Boston two weeks ago. Oh that is so cool! What is your name she asked? Well my name is Derek and yours? My name is Meredith. I started to fall in love with her more even just talking to her and I asked if I could sit beside her and she said yes.

Meredith's POV:
I'm so happy the guy I liked talked to me this morning and he wanted to sit by me. I wish he was mine but once he hears my story and my past he will leave me. Class has started and all I could think about was Derek and not the actual class itself. The bell rang and first period was over. I walked to my second period class and sit down and Derek walked in and he sat by me again.  I get a text from my mom and I smiled so big.

Mom💓💋: I hope you are having a fabulous day I won't be home till late tonight I have a surgery just know that I love you and I can't wait to hear about your first day!!!

Meredith: hey mom my first day is going pretty good for being a sophomore. I hope you are having a good day I can't wait till you get home! I love you so much mom!!💗💗

Derek's POV:
My day is going good so far and I talked to the beautiful girl and oh is she so gorgeous up close. We got to AP English and all of a sudden Meredith's phone buzzed and she had the biggest smile on her face. Her smile could light up a hold room. The class went by very fast and then I went to third period and it was so boring just sitting there and nothing to do so I got on my phone and scrolled through my social media. Then, I went to my fourth period Lunch and luckily Meredith and I had the same lunch.  She was sitting alone so I went to sit with her to make her feel welcomed. I pulled out my lunch and started talking to her. All of a sudden my girlfriend came up....

Meredith's POV
I went to the lunch line and got a salad and a water. I wasn't really that hungry plus I had snacks in my book bag too. All of a sudden Derek sits with me I smiled at him and we started talking. This girl comes up to where we are sitting and she was like Derek where have you been I have been trying to get a hold of you all day. Sorry Addison I was busy you know and also I forgot to mention it to you I wanna break up with you. What!! Addison said with a raging tone. Are you kidding me Derek is it because of her she looks like she sleeps around with guys and she looks like a slut too. Addison do not call her that she is not a slut and she doesn't sleep around she is actually nice and kind. I on the other hand was kind of shocked that Addison called me a slut and said I slept around with guys. Lunch was finally over and Derek and I was walking to our classes and I get a call and this call would change my life forever....
