Chapter 1
Avalon Hunter. You might not think much of me, but I'm an exact replica of my father, who by the way is a mastermind business man for the Ministry of Magic. He's the minister is second hand. I have everything from my fathers jet black hair to pale skin to grassy green eyes though I have a wispy blue in them. Unlike my father though I have soft features, half to full lips, soft skin and a wide smile that reaches my eyes. My mother always says I have her personality. A funny but down to earth person who wants to get good grades, have fun and can be serious when needed. My whole family has been in Ravenclaw for ages so when their eldest daughter got into Gryffindor they were disappointed but they treated me like any other. My mother would always say I got into the Brave Lion house because I was special and courageous. I have two sisters and a brother. My little sister is starting her first year at Hogwarts Maine Starr Hunter. My other sister, Jocelyn Jovi Jillian Hunter is starting her third year. The last of my sibling is my older brother Jason Andrew Mathew Alec Hunter who is starting his seventh year. The there's me. I don't think I've introduced myself though, I'm Avalon Kaia Annabelle Frost Hunter and I am starting my fifth years at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That reminds me,
"Avalon give it back" I only answer back to my first full name Avalon not Ava or Lon or whatever only Avalon. This morning when Josie called me Ava I ran away with her necklace from her best friend, Bella Smith. Bella is a nice girl that comes over to our house a lot. I through the necklace towards her, "fine but never call me Ava again Jocelyn Jovi Jillian Hunter or I will hex you" she rolled her eyes and walked out my room.
My room is bigger than my siblings is rooms with a big queen sized bed and connected washroom. I have sky blue covers and pillows and a small lime green desk in the corner with a big dresser and mirror and a lime green rug and walls. My bathroom is connected to Jocelyn and Jason is washroom making it so hard to get ready every morning.
Throwing on jeans shorts and a pink thin sweatshirt I run over to the mirror and put on mascara and lipgloss pulling my long black hair into a french side braid. Hoop earrings, my converse and jeans jacket and trunk and I'm ready for the train station.
"Avalon hurry or we will be late" my mum called from the stairs.
"Yeah Avalon come on" my brother added as I ran down. "Hush up before I tell Sienna about your incident when you were in your third-" my brother cut me off with a loud scream which made my mom slap him on the back of the head.
Jason mumbled some gibberish as Dad, Mom and Jocelyn disappeared with a pop. I grabbed on to my bother is hand as he put Maine on his back and we too left the ground with a pop! I saw black and felt congested as we landed on the ground whole Maine ran to the nearest garbage can and threw up while I held her hair back. "You okay lil sis" she nodded and we grabbed trollies me and Maine loading our trunks and owls, Remould and Rosalie on quickly and Josie and my brother loaded their trunks and owls, Kathy and Copper onto their trollies. Mum and dad wen through the barrier followed by Josie and Jason.
I turned to Maine, "ready sis" I grabbed into the trolly handle with on hand and put one arm around her running and disappearing before re-appearing in the site of the scarlet Hogwarts Express with shimmering diamonds and grey steam coming from the front. "wow" whispered Maine in aw.
I smiled before hugging my parents and climbing onto the train with Maine. Josie and Jason headed to their firms while I pulled Maine along towards my friends.
Lily Evans, Alice and Anne Prewett and Marlene McKinnon were my best friends.
"Hey Avalon, who's this" they gestured to my sister.
"Oh this is Maine she's starting her first year she's my sister"
They all started cooing over her while she looked at me desperately. I rolled my eyes a small smile and pulled my friends away for her.
Maybe this year could be a normal year. And the compartment door slammed open.
