The troll shuts his eyes, laying in bed. He reached for the ceiling before letting his arms fall to his side. The laughing was haunting and he could still hear it in his head. And the screams still rang in his ears. He let out a small groan, but it was still deep and raspy. There was a small knock on his door, and his eyes shot open. Maybe someone had finally come to tell him that what had happened wasn't his fault, and that it was simply a matter of losing his self control. He stood and shakily opened the door.

The door swings open and it reveals Karkat, the troll seething. He steps inside, pushing Gamzee aside slightly as he does so. Gamzee walks towards him and eyes him quietly. This was not what the indigo blood had been expecting. He almost regretted letting Karkat inside, because he was the person that he was the most afraid of seeing after the incident. He was ashamed. Karkat looked up at him with expectant eyes.

"What's your excuse this time fuckass...? 'Cause I really need a reason not to leave you here and now, for good."

"I-... There's no excuse. I'm sorry. Motherfucker, I lost control. Shit got all up and outta hand.. I tried to-"

"You didn't try hard enough.. And you keep fucking apologizing like it's gonna help! Why should I fucking forgive you?"

Gamzee paused and shut his eyes tight, lips trembling as he clamped down on them with his teeth. He stayed there, hating how cold it got and how cold he felt on the inside. Gamzee finally opens his eyes to see Karkat slowly stand and hug him. They stood there like that for a minute or two, Gamzee's hands hovering over Karkats back like he was scared to touch him. Gamzee was glad he worked up the courage to touch Karkat because now the candy blood was gripping him tightly and refusing to let go. He must've been scared that if he released the clown, he would break down and make a fool of himself. Karkat would never admit it, but he needed Gamzee much more then either of them wanted to believe.

Gamzee snorted softly, and nuzzled into Karkats hair. He inhaled the scent and let it invade his senses, smiling at the silence that said everything. The blush creeping along Karkat's cheeks was confirmation enough, that they were totally into each other. Gamzee leaned, gently kissing Karkat's head before letting his lips rest on Karkat's. They were silent while they kissed, but words would never be able to describe how they felt anyway. Karkat pulled away, his breaths sharp.
