Jacob woke up late the next morning and ran into his first period just as the bell started to ring. Quickly he looked over and spotted Troye whose face was buried in his phone. It was then that Jacob realized that he didn't actually have Troye's number yet and he thought about sending Troye a message on Twitter, but then the teacher started to talk and Troye slid his phone into his bag.
Jacob didn't pay mind to a single thing the teacher said, his gaze was fixed on Troye the entire time. And honestly he was getting frustrated. Troye definitely knew that Jacob was sitting in the same room as him and yet he didn't even bother to look back. Jacob sighed deeply and Hari giggled. The teacher gave Jacob a stern look. "Sorry," Jacob was to quick to apologize. Eric, Mr. Football Captain then spoke up, "it's cool Bix, I think we are all feeling the same way. Mostly everyone, that is. The dumb fag over there probably touches himself over this Shakespeare bullshit." The class laughed.
Jacob's mouth dropped when he realized that Eric was talking about Troye.
"That's enough," the teacher said.
Troye just continued to stare ahead and as soon as the bell rang, he grabbed his stuff and rushed out the door. Jacob's eyes followed him and then once Troye was out of sight, Jacob turned to Hari. She shrugged. Jacob got up and began to head over to 2nd period, luckily Troye was in that class as well.
When he arrived, he saw Troye with his head on the desk. Jacob walked over and tapped Troye's shoulder. "Ya?" Troye asked without looking up.
"Hey, Tro..." Jacob answered.Troye lifted his head and looked at Jacob, "Need something?"
"No, I just..."
Troye gave Jacob a look of annoyance. Jacob just shook his head and took his seat.
Jacob felt really bothered by the way Troye was treating him. He went through his brain and tried to think if maybe he could have done something wrong since leaving Troye's place last night, but nothing came to mind. Despite Troye's behavior, Jacob couldn't keep his eyes off of the boy. So he stared at him all through 2nd period and even 3rd period, and 4th and finally 5th as Troye completed his math test. The look of concentration on Troye's face was adorable, but Jacob was almost more focused on wondering what sort of undergarment Troye might have been wearing under the tight black jeans Troye had on.
Finally, Jacob had had enough. As soon as the bell rang and the students entered the hallway, Jacob grabbed hold of Troye's wrist and dragged him into an empty classroom. "Ow," Troye whined and then shoved Jacob off of him. "I'm sorry," Jacob quickly said, "But, why the hell are you acting like this?"
"Like what?" Troye asked.
"You're ignoring me and being a bitch when I do try to talk to you."
"What do you want, Jacob?" Troye asked. "We fucked, you enjoyed it, end of story."
"End of story?" Jacob questioned. "What does that even mean?"
"You're straight, Jacob, remember?"
"What the hell, Troye?"
"Look, it's ok to experiment. You're young. I don't hold that against you at all. It'd been a while since I got off, so I don't regret it either. Then you helped me study and I think I did alright on that test, so it's cool. You don't need to like talk to me and get all clingy. I wouldn't want to upset your girlfriend." With that, Troye pushed his way out of the classroom.
