Solange's P.O.V

"Because you never say what you mean!"

"Alright then, I love you." My professor leaned down and crashed his lips against mine in a heated kiss. His hands rested on my hips, pulling me into his chest, he gently bit my lip before leaving a trail of kisses down my neck till he found my sweet spot.

"Well well well, what do we have here." Lupin was pulled away from me and pushed into the stone wall.

"Has the wolf caught his poor prey?" Snape sneered with his nasal voice, his wand pointing to the side of Lupins throat. "Taking advantage of your student are we, Remus?"

"It's not like you think, Professor-" I cut in only to get interrupted.

"Have you really manipulated this child to believe-"

"I am not a child and I am perfectly capable of making my own decisions." I stated coldly, noticing Lupin hadn't said anything. He hadn't even defended himself, he looked like a puppy caught chewing on a shoe.

"You'll surely loose your job, you should be sent to Azkaban-" Snape was interrupted again, only this time by Professor Dumbledore whom I didn't even hear coming.

"We do not send people to Azkaban for falling in love, Severus." Dumbledore looked at him over his half moon glasses.
"Nor do we threaten them with our wands."

It was Snakes turn to look like the lost puppy, he took a step back and lowered his wand.

"Remus, Solange. I believe we need to have a little chat in my office." Dumbledore said nonchalantly, like this was any other evening. "Severus, don't you have work to do?"

The path to the headmasters office was long and silent, yet the time went way too fast for my liking.

"Remus, we've had this talk before, yet you ignored my advice."

"I'm terribly sorry, Albus, but I love her and there's nothing I can do about it." Lupin seemed confident, he even reached out and took my hand in his, entwinig our fingers. "I'll resign on the spot."

Dumbledore didn't seem surprised, he simply handed Lupin a piece of parchment and a white swan-feather pen.

I was about to protest, Lupin resigning because of me was not something wanted to happen, but the headmaster got the word first.

"Concidering the incident last full moon, I believe you've made the right decision." Dumbledore folded his hands on the the desk in front of him.
"It saddens me that you must leave your posision as Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher after merely a year, you have been important too many students."

As I and Remus walked back to his classroom I couldn't help but ask.
"What incident?"

"Nothing." He squeezed my hand.

"Don't lie to me, Remus."

He sighed. "I hadn't taken my wolfsbane potion, there was a lot of stuff going on with Sirius and some students and I just kind of forgot."

"Sirius Black?" I knew they were best friends at Hogwarts but Lupin had told me he wouldn't forgive him after what he'd done.

"He's not who you think he is. He hasn't done anything wrong." Remus pulled me into the classroom, quickly shutting the door behind him.
"He was set up by Peter, who've been hiding as a rat for the last thirteen years."

"That's absurd." Lupin hadn't told me much about his childhood, but he had told me about his group of friends.

I slouched down on his couch, pulling my legs up beneath me.

"It's the truth."

"I believe you." I took his hand as he was about to walk past me, kissing the inside of his palm.

"I have to pack." He mumbled, playing with a piece of my hair.

"Already? When are you leaving? Should I help you pack?"

He started packing some stuff down in his suitcase.

"Yes, tomorrow and no." Remus answered me, I was surprised that he would leave that fast.
"I need to get away before all the frightened parents start bombarding the school with questions, no one wants their child to learn from a werewolf."

"Where are you going? I'll come with you." I felt bad for Lupin, I knew he'd been forced to move around pretty much his whole life.

"You need to finish school, darling." His smile still made me weak in the knees.

"I'll visit you then, every weekend." I stood up and wrapped my arms around his waist, leaning my head back so that I could see his face.

He bent down and kissed me softly, nothing sexual, just a kiss showing his affection.

"Let's go to sleep, it's late and you can pack tomorrow." With that we both undressed and crept under the covers of his bed, snuggling up to eachother and drifting away to dreamland.
