Anxiety Night

I was sitting upright on my bed while Eli was reading. I was so worried about the next day. I didn't know if it was just hormones or that I was going to find out if I was really pregnant or not. And of course if the baby was a boy or girl.

I had my hand on my forehead, I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked frustrated... Not the look I was feeling. Was that how I was like for my whole life? Whatever, not the point.

My anxiety got worse by the minute. Scratch that, second. It was kind of getting harder for me to breath. Thinking about everything all at once was giving me a migraine.

I decided to go downstairs and get a drink of water so I could calm myself down. I chose to take the elevator. With my type of problem, I wasn't in the mood to take the stairs. And because I was also tired.

As soon as I got downstairs, I walked to the refrigerator. The water was inside on the door. Cool huh? Anyways, after I finished my water, I felt a LITTLE bit better. A second later, I notice a light in the extra room that we reserved for Darcy. I took my phone just in case and started walking towards her room. I slowly opened the door and was surprised to see Darcy's face.

"Oh, Clare! I'm surprised to be seeing you here" said Darcy in a kind of loud voice.

I replied,"I uh, live here"

She laughed. "Oh and by the way, Jake is here too"

I asked,"Why is like, the whole family here?"

"It's not the whole family, trust me. Its just Jake and I. And we are here because Mom and... Glen? I think thats his name. Anyways, They were being annoying" replied my sister.

I said,"Oh, stay as long as you like" and smiled.

I honestly was kind of bugged about both of them staying here. But, it's what happens when you have siblings I guess. I chose to go to Jake's room to see how he was doing. I realized that we haven't really had a real comversation in a long time.

I knocked on his door. Of course, so I wouldn't be rude. Once he opened we both said,"Hey" at the same time and laughed. He invited me in by using just one gesture.

"So how are you?" I asked with a smile.

He replied,"Good" and the rest practically history. After I left I went straight into my room and right to bed.
