New Chapter of Life Ahead

Summer Memories ♥

 As some of you may know I just graduated from high school . I am off to new adventures I have got accepted to Florida State University , Wingate and even the University of Central Florida . I have spent many nights researching the schools to see which one has the best choice for my major. I want to be a high school teacher and Florida State seems to be the best school. 

I can not wait to spend the next four years of my life there! it's going to be a new chapter in my life, and I am ready for what ever challenges I may face .

 I have to admit that college will be a big change and I am nervous, but in a good way. All the new people and knowledge are awaiting me and I cannot wait to experience all of it. This summer I have got to make amazing memories because it's my last summer before the real world starts with going to my dream school. Before college starts I'm going to try to do as much fun stuff as I can with my best friends, Nia, Ashton, and Riley. Hopefully we will have the best summer ever, I can't wait!

 Lily , do you want to go with us to the beach for a week?" Nia asked me. I smiled and answered, "Well of course I do! We are going to make so many memories , but once we all go off to college we will keep in touch. We can even plan to meet up and do something fun over the year."

 I packed all my stuff that I needed, or thought I might need, the night before we all left for the beach. I could hardly sleep that night because I was so excited! I woke up early the next morning and drove to meet them all at Rileys house so we could go.  Nia was the one who drove us all , she got the most sleep that night since we both stayed up all night . As we drove to the beach,Riley started to play music , of course she played Twenty One Pilots. They are our favorites!

After around three hours of driving, we stopped at McDonald's to use the bathroom and get some food before driving the last two hours to the beach. We are all so excited, and when we got there we were all so happy! As we drove down the downtown area near the beach, we had music blaring and I had never felt so happy before. Once we got to our hotel and checked in we all screamed with joy , of how excited we were to be at the beach . We rushed to the room and changed into our swim suits and then we headed down to the beach for a few hours.

While we were at the beach we played volleyball with a few people we met there. Their names were McKenzie, David, and Gina, they were all super nice! After we got back from the beach, we changed out of our bathing suits and into some decent clothes and went out for dinner. We all voted on going to get tacos , but it was quiet a far drive to get to dinner . Once we got there we all ordered and had a great time then we went out and got ice cream.

"Dude, those tacos were amazing!" Ashton said, taking a bite of his mint ice cream. "I know right!" I replied, then eating a bit of my brownie batter flavored ice cream. After we got ice cream, it was only 7pm so we decided to go to a nearby arcade and play some games for a while. Night time at the beach is my favorite, it's not too hot but its still warm and the sound of the ocean waves is so calming.  " I love spending time at the beach." I said on the walk back, "We should do this more." As we go back to the room we decided to watch a movie . "What movie should we watch?"  "Hmmm," I thought for a minute, "I don't know! What kinds of movies do you like?" " I like drama and action movies." Nia said.

"Okay," I replied, and we began looking through both sections of Netflix to see what movies they had. "We can watch The Avengers movie that they have on there, what do you think?" I wondered.  "Let's watch it , I heard it's really good ." Ashton and Riley agreed and replied.

 We all agreed and decided to watch the movie. It was amazing! After the movie finished we all took turns taking showers and then around 1am we decided to go to sleep.

It's been a great first day at the beach and we can't wait for tomorrow!
