Theo's POV

What am I supposed to do now? Ugh! I hate this! I stormed upstairs to my room. I decided to text Angie since I couldn't text Pip.

Theo: Angie! The worst thing happened!!

No reply. Great... Who else....who else..... I already texted Georges, Frances, and Will! None of them replied. It left me to the only other option. George.

Theo: Hey...

George: Hi what's up?

Theo: My dad forbade me to see or text Philip outside of school. ☹️

George: Oh why?

Theo: Cuz Philip's dad told my dad about us dating.

George: Oh.

Theo: Ya and we only just started dating!!

George: Well I'm sure you'll figure it out 🙂

Theo: Thanks George... I really appreciate it.

George: Np.

I was surprised that George was being nice to me but, I'm guessing it's so I can like him. Well it's not going to work. Since Pip and I have been friends for a while we've taken many photos together. I started scrolling through them. I smiled at the photos. Then, I felt bad inside. I just wanted to rush to his house and prove dad wrong. But, I couldn't.

Philip's POV

I got really nervous to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. I had to rush over to Theo's house. I ran downstairs and everyone was downstairs watching TV.

"Where are you going Pip?" Mom asked turning around to face me.

"Theo's house."

"WHAT?!" Dad screamed.

"Sorry dad." I said and rushed out of the door.

"No! You get back here!" I heard dad scream as I shut the door. I ran as fast as I could to Theo's house and I rang the doorbell. Mr. Burr opened the door, gave me a death stare, and instantly shut the door. But, I kept my foot out, blocking the door.

"Just hear me out Mr. Burr. Please." I said opening up the door.

"Fine." He rolled his eyes.

"Please I really love your daughter. So, could you just give me a chance?"

"You haven't convinced me yet." He rolled his eyes.

"Please. I promise I'll take care of her." Then, I heard footsteps and I saw Theo at the top of the staircase.

"Philip?" Theo said and smiled. She rushed down the stairs and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. I saw Mr. Burr get mad.

"Please dad just give Philip a chance." Theo said.

"No. I can't. I'm sorry."

"But dad!"

"I said no! Mr. Hamilton get out of my house and never touch or talk to my daughter again!"

Theo started crying and gave me one last hug.

"I'll figure something out." I whispered in Theo's ear and I opened the door and left.

I walked back home. I opened up the door and I saw everyone look at me.

"So? What happened?" Angie asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it." I said and I just went to my room. I started hating myself. I wish this didn't happen. Why did I have to be this stupid! Many days passed by and I just wasn't the same. I knew I couldn't talk to Theo and I was devastated. All my friends saw I wasn't the same. Even the teachers. Soon, everyone found out what happened between Theo and I and rumors spread around.

Theo's POV

It's been days since I've talked to Philip. I lost all happiness in me. Every lunch I would just stay in the school library. No matter what, every day someone will look at me, whisper something to their friend, and laugh. Sometimes I would spend lunch in a bathroom stall and I would eat in there. Every time I looked at a romance book I would start tearing up. I was so stupid to think that I would actually be able to date Philip. Now, I can't even talk to him. Life is just great. Soon enough I made it home. I just felt like crying. So that's what I did. I got some ice cream and went upstairs to my room. I locked the door and turned on the TV to binge watch Game Of Thrones.

I ended up falling asleep and I woke up at midnight.

"Huh?" I checked the time. 12:06. I looked around and saw that my ice cream was gone and there was pizza right next to me. It was still warm so I ate it. I'm guessing dad left it for me so he wouldn't have to wake me up. Then, I stayed up. It was Friday so it was okay. I don't do much on the weekend.

~~~~~~~Later On Around 9:00am~~~~~~~

I looked in the mirror and I didn't look good at all. My eyes were baggy and red, my hair was a mess, and I just didn't look like myself. It was like I changed. I decided to visit mom's grave. I got ready and headed to the graveyard that wasn't too far away. I approached mom's grave and sat down in front of it.

"Why is dad like this to me mom?" I closed my eyes.

"I wish you were here to help me." I sat there and just started crying. After a good minute or so I got up and walked to the entrance with my head down. I just started walking when I bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm so sorry!" I said looking up to see someone around my age who I've seen before.

"Oh it's okay." The person said. I recognized the voice and it took me to realize who it was.

"Oh it's you Joesph...Alston right?"

"Oh Theo! How are you?"

"Good! I haven't seen you since middle school are you at a different high school?"

"No. My parents sent me to a boarding school I'm just here for vacation."

"Oh! Well it's good to see you again. How long are you here for?"

"For one more week then, I'm goin' back. How's your mom and dad?"

"My mom..passed. But, my dad's good!"

"Oh I'm sorry about your mom's passing! And how's Philip?"

"Uhm... he's good!"

"That's great! I better get going my mom wants me home."

"Oh okay! Nice seeing you!"

"You too!"
