~Levi's POV~

The days were wearing down on the good Captain's nerves. The work he and his team did, though very noble indeed, was more than a little stressful. But how stupid must my thoughts sound? Speaking in the third person like some stupid son of a bitch. I took the last sip of my tea. Petra's own personal brew, and only she knew just how strong I like my tea. Suddenly, I looked down at my paperwork and realized that the sheer annoyance of monotony was beginning to set in. In a sudden fit of rage, I hurled the glass toward the door. To my dismay, Petra opened the door, and the cup shattered across her forehead. I watched in silent horror as her forehead began bleeding.

"Petra!" I called

She slowly stood back up and wrapped herself up in a torn piece of her cloak. She sat next to me.

"Captain, is there something bothering you?" She asked

I looked up into her golden eyes, only to return her gaze of concern with my own cold gaze.

"The hell do you care anyway?" I spat

My words cut her like knives. I could tell by the way her face expressed the emotional pain.

"Captain Levi I just wanted to help." She said

My anger was past the point of caring.  I helped her up and pushed her out the door.

"You really want to help me?" I asked

She's turned back to me, eyes full of hope as she excitedly nodded.

"Then fuck off." I said as I slammed the door in her face.
