"Get away from her!" Someone barked. I looked and next to the mugger was Stein. He had his hand on the mugger's wrist and was pointing the gun upward.
The mugger kinda looked scared when Stein starred at him. The mugger said something that surprised me, " No! She's mine!" Stein starred at him some more than put his hand out to me.
I instantly knew what he wanted and a black light engulfed me. I spun around a bit, then landed in his hand. He stepped away from the muggers. Then all of a sudden, they turned into kishins. Stein swung me at the first one cutting his neck. Then the kishin turned into a red soul.
Then he trapped the seconds ones neck and sent his soul force through him.
- Steins POV-
Then I turned to the leader who was sharpening his claws."Theres we goes, alls done." He said looking at his claws. "Sakura" I said. "OK" she replied. Everything got all of a sudden quiet. "Soul Resonance!" Sakura and me shouted in unison.
Are souls expanded creating a blue soul around us. Then it turned black with streaks of red. Sakura grew larger and was black with the same red streaks. She had a grey handle with black dragons curling up it. "Dragon hunter!" I shouted.
Then we ran at him faster than I have ever ran before. He through his claws up in front of him but we cut two of his claws off and cracked one.
He stumbled backwards a bit and fell, when I swung at him. I swung again and cut off his arm. He cried out in pain. Then I slammed my soul force at him and he turned into a red soul. Sakura turned back into a human and ate the soul happily.
Then she turned towards me and said, "You know, I really never needed your help. I stumbled backwards a bit, surprised at that. "But thanks anyway"
She started walking back home when I said," I'm taking you home" "huh?" She asked. "Well you did almost get mugged." She thought about it for a while but then said fine.
I started thinking about our battle. I wonder why are souls in our soul resonance turned black? That's rare. I thought. I've only seen it happen once.
We walked in silence the whole trip,until we got to Sakura's house. We said are byes and I left to go home.
