CHAPTER3; Move in.

It had been two weeks since Colby and I filmed the social experiment video. We have hung out about three times after that. We didn't do anything major though, we just go lunch, or we go shopping. I had bought him a cute outfit for one of his videos.

Colby was getting cuter and cuter by the second I think. I don't know, I just feel all tingly around him. Maybe I'm going crazy. But speaking of crazy, our fans were making assumptions saying that Colby and I were dating. I mean, I would be okay with it but we were friends.

I had gotten a text from Marie when I was at Target. She said she needed to talk to me about something serious. I was nervous, but let's just hope it's not another one of her pranks.

Once I got home I walked into the living room and my eyes caught Marie's. "What do you need to talk about?" I ask.

She shifts in her seat. "Okay, So Brennen and I have been dating for a while." She says and I nod slowly. I hope she's not pregnant. "Well, he's pretty lonely at his new house, and he asked me to move in with him." She announces.

My eyes go wide. "Did you say yes? That's amazing Mar." phew, I'm not going to be an aunt.

"Well, yeah I said yes but I need to talk to you before I make any final decisions."

I shrug. "If you want to, then move in with him. I'm sure I can find a smaller and more adorable apartment to pay for on my own." I tell her as she smiled and hugged me.

"Yay! Thank you!"

I had driven to Colby's house. I've only been to his house once before. It was huge, and really nice. I pulled up and Colby opened the gate for me. "Hey Val." He said as I hopped out of the car.

I smile, "Hey."

We walk inside and voices of loud boys fill my ears. "I'm sorry, the boys are playing fortnite." Colby whispers to me, as I laugh. I hadn't met them yet, which was nerve wracking.

"Valarie! Nice to see you again!" Sam said, waving at me from the couch. I wave back.

"You must be Valarie! I'm Jake and we are going to be best friends." A guy with pink hair says. I laugh and shake his hand.

I get introduced to all of them. I even met Corey and Sams girlfriends, Devyn and Kat. They were really nice and pretty. Us girls hung out while the boys played fortnite.

"I need to look for a new apartment." I say to Colby. We were sitting in his room now, he was editing a video.

"Wait why?" He asks, turning around in his chair.

"Well, Marie is moving in with Brennen and I can't afford the apartment on my own." I explain, as he slowly nods.

"So how long do you have to find one?"

"Two weeks."

His eyes went wide. "You can not find a decent priced apartment in LA in just two weeks!" He told me.

I shrug. "It's fine. I'll make do I guess." Colby stayed quiet for a minute then his eyebrows raised. I think I could almost see the lightbulb above his head.

"You could just move in here." He states, I furrow my eyebrows. "I mean, we have an extra room that we don't use ever. We wanted a new roommate anyway." He explains.

"I don't want to bother you guys though." I tell him with concern.

Colby rolls his eyes. "Valarie, it's fine! You can just move in. I want you too." He tells me, and smiles.

I stayed quiet to think about it. I guess I could— I should talk to Marie about it. No, it doesn't matter if she knows. Maybe I should do it.

"Okay." Was all I said.

"Yes?"

"Yes."
