"Goodnight," you said to your parents as you walked to your room. You closed the door and felt someone's hands around your waist. "Oh my-" you flinched on the sudden touch. "Shh, it's just me," he whispered as his hand was still covering your lips. He turned you around and you finally faced him. "Taehyung! You know how much I hate it when you do this!" you mumbled as he only laughed. "I missed you babe," he said in a low voice as you both were laying in your bed. "You can text me or call me, you know that my parents don't know about you, I mean if they find out what you are.." you got interrupted by a sudden kiss. Taehyung and you have been together for one year. No one really knew about your relationship, Taehyung always wanted it to be a secret.

He always said how you shouldn't talk about love, how it'd make you sound vulnerable to others and they'd know how to hurt you. The biggest reason why your relationship was a secret was because Taehyung was a vampire. He was the last one of his kind and he wanted to have a peaceful life. All members of his family were killed by people. "What are you thinking about?" he asked softly. "You," you said making him chuckle. "What about me?" he asked curiously as you were laying on his chest. "I feel sorry for you Taehyung. You lost your family and have to hide from everyone forever. I want to help you, but I honestly don't know how.." you talked in a slow pace. "Baby don't think about that, I'll be alright. I'm just happy to have you." he said, lifting up your chin so he could kiss you. "Y/n!" your mom entered the room as you felt coldness embrace your body.

"Yes mom?" you asked as she came into your room. "I didn't want to tell you this in front of others, I mean dad already knows, but your siblings.." "What are you talking about?" you interrupted her. "You'll have to get married." She said with a following sigh. "What? You're joking right?" you asked her, but she just kept looking down. "I'm sorry dear, but back then when you were still little we made a deal with one family. They helped us in our worst time, gave us money, food, everything that we needed...but they wanted you to be wife to their son once you're old enough. We had to accept it.." you looked at her, not being able to think properly. "How could you keep this as a secret from me?? How could you live with this for so long?! You gave me to some strangers for money!" you started to yell as you felt tears fall down your face.

"We didn't have a choice!" her voice became louder. "Of course you did! There's always another way! You could've found some kind of work! We could've survived that period of time! But of course, it was easier to sell your daughters body than to find work!" you yelled at her and soon got a slap from her. "Don't yell at me! You'll get married and that's it! It's already done. Your wedding is in three weeks and I don't want to hear you complain about anything!" she said, leaving your room. You were a mess, you kept crying, trying to silence your cries with a pillow that soon was soaked in your tears. "Tae where are you?" you asked quietly and soon you felt his arms around you. "I'm here baby," he said as you turned around and hugged him. He was trying to calm you down, but how could you be calm after what your mom has just said?

"Tae I don't want that marriage.." you said through cries. "I know, I know."
"I don't want to leave you. I love you Taehyung, I don't want to be with anyone else." you looked him in the eyes as he was trying to avoid eye contact. "Why are you not upset about this?" you asked him as he finally looked you in the eyes. His eyes were black. "Of course I'm upset! I don't want to lose you, but what can I do? Did you really plan to have a future with a monster like me?" he asked as you looked at him disappointed. "Baby you're not a monster, not to me.." you said quietly but he only laughed. "Of course I am. How would you live with me? I'll never get old and you'll grow old." he said, standing up from your bed. "We will find a way.."

"There's no way for us to have a future, don't you see it?" he said louder. "Are you really giving up on us like this?" you asked him, but he didn't say anything. He disappeared, leaving you alone in your room with your thoughts and tears.
