The Assassin's Burden *Discontinued*

Chapter 1

Phoenix's POV
I walked down the narrow hallway as my father waited for me..

I reached our room and my father looked at me with rage glistening in his eyes..

"F-father? You wanted to see me?" I asked as I looked at him with fear 

"Yes, I did, What's this?" He asked with anger

He raised my journal and flipped a few pages

"I want to escape this demented place as well as kill my horrid father but I still can't, I'm not strong enough" He read then looked at me

He threw the journal away and came closer to me, a tear flowed down my eyes as he glared at me furiously..

"At least your right about one thing" He said "You aren't strong enough.." He said as I felt a wave of pain through my stomach

I looked down and saw a sword through my body, tears dropped as I held my stomach, blood flowing out of it, My vision became dizzy and I looked at him

"Your a disgrace to this family! A mistake!" He yelled furiously and left the room

Tears flowed out my eyes as it felt heavier and heavier until my eyes closed and I fell into a deep void in my head..

My body jumped into a seating position as I remembered every bit of my past

I crawled out my tent and I heard birds chirping, I grabbed food and my backpack...

I put daggers to the slot on my upper thigh and my trusty swords to my hip. 

I put on my black cloak and walked around the forest, I saw posters of me in my cloak...

They don't even know my face..

I  walked through the forest and I stumbled at a town, the most popular town, The Myrefall..

I went to the sides and looked up at the big wall separating the town from the forest, I looked for ways to enter the town and I found 3 options...

1 is to climb the wall but I might get too tired that when the guards caught me, I can't fight back so, not an option

2 is to fight my way in, this village has thousands and more guards so, not an option

Or 3 through the sewers, I'm not the girls who gets disgusted easily or anything but, through the sewers.. It's disgusting but it might work..

I walked over to the sewers but before I went in, I changed my cloak so they won't recognize me..

I got out of the sewer and in the town and saw all of the people smiling at each other

Disgusting..

I walked through the town looking for people to victimize...

Suddenly, someone grabbed my arms and brought me to their ruler's house..

I've read about their ruler here.. They're ruthless and I like it..

"What do you want, 'Lord Jax'?" I asked as I mocked his name

"You're the most wanted assassin?!" He said shocked

"What? Didn't expect a young teen go on a killing spree?" I asked

"No, I didn't expect a young girl to be the skilled assassin" He said with a grin

"Well, I didn't expect a boy handling a big town" I said as I smirked at him, he looked at me with rage in his eyes
