Happiness and Love.

Happiness is nothing but one of society's biggest lies. Since the moment we are born we have not the right but, the obligation of being happy and if, at some point in our lives, whatever the reason is, we are not happy, then... Then something is wrong with us. And no, it's not wrong because we're feeling bad. It's wrong because you're not happy and that, that's something this society won't ever accept. And it won't, not for your sake, but because one of the possible causes, and the most likely, for you not being happy is society itself. And this, for sure, is something our society doesn't like because, she's a hypocrite, she believes herself to be perfect and she won't accept the crude, but true, reality. 

In the same way as happiness, love is nothing but another of society's biggest lies. Also, since the moment we are born we have the obligation to love and being loved in return, as if that also depended on us, as if being the way we are weren't enough. Besides, love isn't something as beautiful, neither as idyllic, as the fairy tails that our parents told us about when we were kids, or as in romantic comedies, the same romantic comedies that, one year after another, the movie industry makes for us to watch when we are adults, or at least, when we try to be adults. Although, love isn't as dramatic as some novels make it seem. I guess, love is too complex for us to represent or describe. And, to tell you the truth, love isn't complex itself, it's us, humans, who persist on complicating it, as we do with many other things. And, as if this weren't enough, we have to add that, for each one of us, love is something completely different. Maybe, that's the reason why I don't like society's perception of love.

It's true, I sometimes say I love you, and that's because I love the way your eyes shine when you hear it. It's true, I sometimes confess that you make me happy because, sadly, there's no other way for me to tell you how you make me feel. It's true, I sometimes say both and, the truth is, I'd like to be able to tell you how I feel with other words than the ones imposed by society, because they make no real justice to the way I feel for you.

You can't even imagine how much I hate the words Happiness and Love, but you... You make me want to say them every single second we are together. And that's because, when I'm next to you, I forget about the world, I forget about everything but you. Because, next to you I know what's love, and I know what's being happy.
