Jack's POV

"A new guardian?" I asked dumbly. I stared at the shape of the girl.

"It appears so." North said.

"Who is it?" Bunny asked.

"It's a girl! I'm so excited!" Tooth squealed.

"I don't know who it is." North said. A picture of a castle formed out of sand above Sandy's head.

"Is she a princess?" I asked him. He nodded. The image changed to a word. Arandell.

"Her name is Arandell?" Tooth guessed. Sandy shook his head. He showed the castle again.

"Oh! The castle is named Arandell!" Tooth exclaimed. Sandy smiled and nodded vigorously.

"Do you know who she is?" Bunny asked. Sandy started to nod, then shook his head. I looked back at the crystal, but the image had started to break up. The wind began to pound against the doors.

"Uh, guys?" I said. They all turned to me. The image disappeared completely.

"Snowstorm!" North shouted. All of the yeti began running around and gathering toys, throwing them all into closets and chests. The elves just ran into each other. Tooth gathered up her Baby Tooths and held them protectively, and Sandy turned his sand into a little house, and then he locked himself in. North was yelling orders at the yeti and scooping up elves, throwing them around the room. Bunny's nose twitched, then he tapped his foot. He vanished down a tunnel, which closed after him. I flew up to the roof and tried to seal the cracks so that the snow wouldn't blow in.

The wind continued to howl, and the storm continued for three hours. When it was finally over, the workshop was put back in order. Then there was cold laughter. Great. I knew that laughter.

"A new guardian? How exciting! I'll just go get her, shall I? I'm sure Anna will be happy to join me." Pitch laughed. Anna? Apparently Pitch recognized the girl.

"Not this time!" North said. There was more laughter, then the power went out. Pitch was gone, off to Arandell.

"What now?" I asked.

"We need to go get Anna before Pitch does." North said.

"Wait, right now?"

"We have to do it before he gets there. I'll send my yeti with the sack."

"Wait wait wait. Hold it. You're not going to do the same thing with her as you did with me, are you?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact I was."

"Uh uh. I'll go get her."

"Unacceptable. This is a race, not just a pleasant trip to a castle."

"I can be serious when I want!"

"You are the guardian of fun mate." Bunny said. He had arrived unnoticed and was now standing behind me.

"I actually did something when the storm hit! You ran like a rabbit!"

"For your information, I was checking on the other parts of the stronghold."

"Really. Fine, if you say so. But I'm still going to go get Anna!"

"He did help when the storm hit." Tooth pointed out. Sandy nodded and made an arrow point at me then a little sand castle. North sighed.

"Wait, you're not really going to let him do it, are you?" Bunny asked.

"Yes, I am. Be quick Jack, there isn't much time. Here's a couple of snow globes. Go get Anna, explain everything, then get her out of there." North said.

"But you guys are forgetting something! Frost can't be seen! No one believes in him there, remember?" Bunny pointed out. It was silent. We had forgotten about that.

"Right. I'll go then. Be back in a flash mate."

"Hold it. You have a point. None of us will be seen. Arandell hasn't been visited by any of us." North said.

"What? N-no one believes in us...?" Tooth stuttered. The memory of no believers was still fresh.

"Yep. So Jack will be just affective as any of us. And he is the only one of us who has met Pitch several times and survived. He is going, and that's final." North stated.

"How will they see him?" Tooth asked.

"If she's truly a guardian, she will be able to see him. Now go Jack, there isn't a moment to lose!" I nodded, then accepted the snow globes he held out. I held one to my lips.

"Arandell." I said, then tossed it to the ground.

"I'll be back before you know it!" I promised. Then I stepped through and into the new world.
