25: Mates of Roxy Slater

Sh'lera's POV

It had been a week since we returned from Italy and I took the house in my name, removed everything Adam within the house. The kids seemed to not show their emotions when it came to Adam, it was still to early for all that anyway.

I was now going through with this divorce and nothing was going to stop it, honestly nothing could stop it because by the end of the day he cheated on me and kept cheating. I don't want to be with a cheater.

Realizing my next move after seeing Adam with Jean, I found a lawyer yesterday and I was going to present Adam with papers today. Yesterday was crazy because I quit my job and wasn't going to be Luna anymore so that job wasn't going to be for me anymore.

I guess Jean did it, she broke up Adam and I.

Everything was moving slow, and slowly people were giving me odd looks, I knew news was traveling and soon the fact Adam and I were getting a divorce was going to come to light. This was really it because I didn't want anything to do with Adam anymore.

I had my kids and I was good,

Currently I was making cookies just because, that's when I heard the door open and close. It was Regina. "Hey girl,"

"Is it true?" Her eyes were watery, "Oh the cookies have nuts," I said with a sad face forgetting Blake couldn't eat nuts,

"Oh no you and Adam, Roxy told me." Was she seriously crying? I wasn't, "Regina are you okay?"

She shakes her head, "Shay what if I were to tell you that Adam isn't the father of Sasha?"

I laughed at her, "I'd say prove it," I went back to pouring the batter in the pan, I wiped my hands on my apron and looked back at her fishing around in her purse. "I was carrying this around with me for a week finding the right moment before something like this to happen."

I put down the bowl and watched her read it over and hand it to me, I read it over and glanced at her and then back at the paper. It indeed said that Adam wasn't the father,

"Regina this is all good and all but we don't know who the father is," I said handing it back to her and returning to my cookies. "Well I just I give it a try," She sadly puts the paper back in her bag and went to the door and got the mail.

"Hey here's a letter for you-" I waved it off, "It's junk-"

"It's has no adress," I take a double glance and see her opening it, "Hey Regina what are you doing?" I asked taking the envelope from her and opening it, I read the letter out loud.

Dear Luna,

I heard about the fight with Jean, she deserved it but I'm not writing to you about Jean but about the test. Regina your beta must've gave it to you by now, I knew she wouldn't last past 2 weeks but anyway I wanted to confirm to you that Adam isn't my father.

In fact the father of Sasha is Xavier, the Xaiver who made a move on Belle and is dating Roxy. I just wanted to let you know the truth.

"Oh my gosh who wrote this letter and give this DNA test to us?" Regina asked staring at the letters, I slowly put down the letter and looked at her. "Sasha,"

"How did you get that one?" Regina questioned, "When she said 'Adam isn't my father' and then she goes to say 'In fact the father of Sasha is Xavier' It's her Regina, It's Sasha."

"But why would she do something like this?" I shrug and return to my cookies, "How can you bake cookies after learning this information. It won't change anything,"

"Oh Sh'lera this is good news, Adam is free of Jean's grasp." I glare at her, "He's anything from that. He's a cheater Regina, he cheats and cheated on me more than once. I don't want to fight for cheating ways I want to fight to get away from all that." I whispered losing myself in my cookies, I didn't even realize Regina had left.

Roxy's POV

"Okay do you know what your going to say?" Xavier asked holding my hands, I nod but was bitting my lip because I was so nervous. "Roxy calm down," Xaiver whispered cupping my face and kissing my lips.

I peered over the rock and saw Blake enjoying a book alone, "Your just going to charm him into rejection and allowing him to move on and Roxy, whatever you do don't cry. It'll mess everything up."

Xavier kisses my forehead and walks away leaving me, when I find the strength I move from behind the rock and approach Blake. He looks up and puts a big smile on his face. "Hi Aunt Roxy,"

"How are you?"

"I'm good, kind of missing Italy it was fun. Well except for getting grounded but a lot happened back there. Are you okay?" He asked moving aside for me to sit down, "I'm good, well in a good place."

He puts his book down and gave me his full attention, he had a cute little face I wanted to kiss all day and his manners were amazing Sh'lera and Adam taught him well, his charm was clearly Mason all the way. I had my run ins with Mason to know,

I took Blake's hands and turned them palm facing up, "Blake I want to talk to you about mates,"

Surprisingly I stayed calm, "Okay," I held his hands and looked in his eyes, "Your mate will be someone who is your better half, someone you will know was meant for you. But what I don't wish for you is that special mate to reject you." His eyes began to glow a blue color,

I never gave it any thoughts and went back to rejecting myself, "Then why are you rejecting me?" My eyes were fixed on him now, what did he just say? "Huh?"

"Why is that special person made for me, that special mate rejecting me?" He repeated and I blinked and wiped a tear from my cheek and gasped. "Honey you have no idea what your talking about." I laughed it off awkwardly.

"Let me show you then," He said cupping my face and slowly leaning in, at first I was scared because all the thoughts of Xavier came rushing back. "What about your reputation?" I blurted out.

"I don't care as long as my mate is next to me," He whispers and I allow him to tenderly press his lips against mine.
