Evanescence High School was really weird. For one, the students in it where incredibly peculiar, and the classes did not involve math or music. Instead Heather Avema was taught how to build giant robots called Jaegers, how to speak Enochian, and how to properly deduce facts from everyday objects. Class field trips were not to places like the zoo, they were to the Mesozoic Era or Victorian London. Extracurricular activities included Magic 101, Summoning Demons for Sport and Recreation, Piloting Planes, Credit Card Scams, Kaiju Biology, Guns, Aliens That Aren't Kaiju Biology, and How to Properly Sonic. As you can probably tell, Evanescence High School wasn't a normal high school. Heather Avema had been enrolled by her family. She had all the right skills for it. But she didn't want to go. She wanted to be a normal human being who didn't kill monsters or operate giant robots or solve murders in one day. But fate is not so kind. Sadly, Heather was forced into the school, and at the same time she was forced into love.
