There was these twin sisters named Sally and Alley both of them liked playing basketball , they would play basketball after school and even at lunch . sally and alley both want to be on a senor girls basketball team so they approached the gym teacher about the situation and begged the gym teacher and she said yes but were is the team , so they want ahead and asked some girls the practiced with to join the team. Sally went to go get her sister and the team at lunch time to the gym teachers office and said “ we got a team ‘’ the girls cheered, “ alright Ms. Walls said practice starts tomorrow after school’’ YES alley said we have a girls basketball team . ok girls today is our first basketball practice said Ms. walls i sighed us up for a mini tournament with three school if we win all three game we win the whole tournament, run around the gym 2 time to warm up then we are going to practice some drills and play a game if we have the time ms. Wall said . After practice the team thanked sally and alley for making this happen , its ok said sally and alley.
The two sister want to and told there mom and dad what happened at practice. Sally and alley asked their mom if she can get new basketball shoes for the tournament coming up , ok but i am only giving you guys $ 100 if you need more money you have to earn it yourselves , ok said sally and alley ok what should we do to get more money said sally oh i know ! a garage sale that is easy said alley ok but we can’t do it by ourselves, oh we can call the basketball team to help us do the posters and help with the garage sale , ok i will call them to come over to help said alley. Later that day they want out to go hand you the posters after the team went to the mall to go get some smoothes to reward themselves for all the work they have done.
3 days later was the garage sale everyone on the team had to bring 7 things or more for the garage sale at the end of the sale they got $600 they went to the mall to go get there ball shoes, they got their shoes and had lots of money left and gave it to the team to go buy their shoes “thank you”the team said now the hole team has new ball shoes
Oh my gosh today is the tournament is today get ready alley said we have to be there at 8:30 hurry , sally and alley got to the bus at 8:15 and waited for the rest of the team , then they all left at 8:35 they got warmed up for their first game
The game started at 5mins in the game and the cubes which was alley and sally’s team had 48 and the lions had 46 the lion got 3pts and foul shots so the cubes lost 48-51
When they came back and they were disappointed because they practiced for a long time, Ms. Walls said ‘’ I KNOW WE LOST THE GAME BUT WE CAN STILL TRY AGIAN” and we got a big one coming up soon and scouts from universities (Kentucky University, UCLA University, North Carolina University , and Duke University) are going to be there if you are really good which most of you girl are you will get a scour ship to get to go to that school for free ,we got to practice hard to be number 1 so sally and alley and the team worked hard at all practises and even practiced and lunch they wanted to win really badly .
If was one day to the tournament and the girls were so happy because they practiced so much. They had a small practice and reviewed there plays, ms. Walls gave them a little speech and said that i know that the scouts from different universities are going to be there but pretend they are not there , why....... alley said , ms. Walls replied because you guys will get all nervous then not play good give it your all tomorrow .Now go home and get a nice sleep girls .
They all got to the tournament before they got off the school bus they prayed that they would win the tournament, the team got off the bus then proudly got off the bus and went into the gymnasium.
The referee welled GAME TIME!!!!! ......at the firstquarter the cubes were losing but they came back in the second quarter. The scouts said that they were an amazing team . 2 min left in the game and sally had the ball but her sister was hide open so she pasted it to her then alley shout it and it was in !!!!!!! THE CUBE WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP !!! ms.walls was so proud of them .
