so just a little change i did on this chapter....... i mixed up the back stories and they were two versions of it so i changed the back story to the most latest one.... sorry guys ... but dont worry its a very small change
Cold and dark. The only words which could describe the place they were in. they were kept in a separate castle apart from the main one. It was small but at the same time spacious enough for all of them to do their own work. Nights were the most difficult as they would be called to the main castle for torture.
The first time they were brought here. They were kept in a hall with pillars and huge chandelier at the middle. Dust settled, cobwebs everywhere. They both saw a quivering pile under the dusty blankets. Tao reached out, he carefully pulled the blanket off. "Luhan!" Tao exclaimed. He quickly wrapped his arms around him, embracing the shivering boy. Kris stood still as the two boys hugged and looked around to see if anyone is watching them. " h-how did y-you g-guys get h-here?" Luhan stammered. " shh it's okay we are here now." Kris said, he kneeled in front of him and caressed his hair. He was dirty, his hair was not washed and he had bruises all over his body. His clothes had turned into rags and the normal glow on his face had faded already.
Kris and Tao had managed to lift the shivering boy on his feet, they took him to the nearby basin to wash him up a little. They cleaned as much they could of his hair and body and by the time they were finished Luhan looked much cleaner than before. They made him sit on a pile of blankets more like rags to get him comfortable because he was lying on the dirty floor. Luhan had stopped shivering now but he still flinched at sounds. Tao sat beside him and kept running his hands through his hair to give some comfort to him. Kris took a chair which looked as if it would fall apart any moment so he sat on its edge. " where is this place?" Kris asked. " as far as I know by staying here, its somewhere near the palace." " how did you know that? Did you see it?" Tao questioned him. Luhan pointed towards the small window. Kris got up and went towards the window. He looked outside and saw a path in the clearing with guards on both sides. " so you are telling me there are no guards to secure this place?" Kris asked. " no, it's under a spell, if any of us leaves this place he will know instantly." Luhan said. Tao saw Luhan clutch something in his hand tightly. " what's that?" Tao asked softly. Luhan opened his fist to show a crumpled photograph in his hand.

" oh Luhan" Tao hugged him closer, even though Luhan was older in age he needed comfort and the poor boy started to sob as the memory of Sehun flooded his mind. He clutched Tao's shirt and buried his head on his shoulder. Kris sighed, he knew that Tao and he had done a one-way thing. There was no turning back even if they did, they will be named as traitors for all they know, but one glance at Luhan's condition made all those doubts go away. He knew if he had to do it again he will do it without any question and so will Tao.
" I miss him Tao, but he probably hates me," Luhan said between his sobs. Tao knew that that was not true. But looking at the situation he himself had no idea what Sehun and the others were feeling for them. " Damaris probably knows already. That we are here." Kris said. He could see from the windows that the guards were doubled and a figure was approaching towards them. Luhan panicked and he held tightly on Tao, confused by his behavior Tao gave him a questioning look but before he could ask him anything. The huge doors to the hall opened revealing Damaris. His wings covering his body like a shroud, his eyes were dark and empty.
