He was still my boyfriend. But I could feel our relationship becoming distant.

The mall was were we had our first fight.

"Babe, I reckon we should go to the mall." I suggested.

"UM, sure." He replied, his eyes glued to his phone screen.

"Babe!" I said.

"Yea sure, lemme get ready."

He dressed up in an E-boy aesthetic, and I dressed in my soft-girl aesthetic.

Our parents were rich, so we didn't need to fit in the "I wear what my mum buys me" category.

We left the house, and drove off to the mall. I was ready to shop, and he was ready to make some tiktoks. We were okay with it. I was until some 12 year old ran up to us.

"Hey! No way! Are you, Emo-alex?" they squealed.

"I sure am! You've enjoyed my tiktoks?" He replied with a smile.

"yea! they are super awesome!!" they giggled. "can we get a photo?"

"Sure!" He replied.

I loved this side of him.

A group of teens came up to him, "Sup! We are loving your transitions on your tiktoks!"

He thanked them with a smile. Time ticked by as he greeted his fans.  I stood there, annoyed and the fans.

"Alex. We need to talk." I said sternly.

"Sure babe, wassup?" He replied calmly.

"What's happening?" I asked bewildered

"Some fan business, that's all."

Irritated, I replied. "Well I don't like it, this is supposed to be our time"

"Well, just keep up okay?"

"whats with the attitude?"

"Attitude? you're the one coming in with one"

"me?!" I asked shocked at his passive- aggressiveness.

Some fans interrupted, so I stormed off without looking back.
