As soon as Ace walked into the room, I almost forgot to breath. I felt like hugging him tight and hitting him to oblivion. I hate how weak he used to make me feel back then, I not the same person any more, no more.
"He's not worth it. Remember you don't and will never love him. You will find someone better than him. Don't let him affect you" I yelled to myself in my head. The tension was so thick, I even heard Alice and Cato stop playing. I can practically see them tensed and waiting for me to lash out, Alpha, Noble and Asem seem to even sense the tension. Keenan looked at me and then at Ace. Seeing how neither one of us are breaking eye contact
"I'm going to leave you two to talk" Keenan said backing away and walked over to where Alice and Cato was. "Come on guys lets train and leave them to talk."
"But-"
"Ouch" "Hey, let go of my ear"
I was left with Ace who smiled at how Keenan pulled both Cato and Alice by the ear. He stopped smiling when he realized I wasn't and sighed
"Look Wander-"
"Save it" I said and began to walk away with Alpha in my arms when Ace grabbed my arm, making Alpha growl furiously. Ace quickly let go and simply looked at me. I simply pet Alpha softly making him stop growling. "It's okay little one"
"Can we please talk" Ace said in a pleading voice? I turned to look back and saw he was trying to avoid eye contact. I felt a tugged at heart. "Hell no heart, stop feeling sorry for him...he's dead to me"
"Fine. Lets talk in the living room" I said as steady as I can "Don't touch me ever again"
Ace just nod his head letting me lead the way. I couldn't help but tense up all the way, I wanted to run into my room and just have these little guys to accompanied me. And forget about the world, but life rarely ever lets you get what you want. I learn that over the years.
As soon as we reached the living room, I sat on the desk and put Alpha down on the ground next to my leg. I sighed, calming my heart down and forcing myself to shut off my feelings. I then looked at Ace who I realized was standing a few feet from my face, I couldn't help but tense up.
"I didn't even hear him move" I thought and put my hand at his chest about to push him away when he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me forward, landing me on his chest, my face in the crook of his neck. He wrapped his arms around me and hold me tight. I froze at first not knowing what to do, then started trying to shove him off of me, but it was like moving a brick wall.

"I'm sorry for what happen back then" Ace began interrupting me "I'm sorry you had to face all that in the facility, I'm so sorry for not being strong enough, for not being brave enough to save you"
