My name is Kendra. I am 18 years old and I live in Omaha Nebraska. I moved here with my mom when I was eight. By that time, I was in the third grade. I was an outcast in the class. I had come all the way from California, so Nebraska was a little different. I was different. But then, I found out I wasn't the only one that was different. There were two other boys in the class which never let the other out of sight. And guess what? They're names were both Jack. I became friends with them, and as it turned out, they were just as different as me. There was Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson. Yes, those dudes from vine. You see, we were a trio before they got famous. We used to play together in the recesses and go home to JJ's place to watch cartoons and eat pop tarts. If you didn't know, JJ is short for Jack Johnson. We used to have sleepovers and you couldn't break us apart without us causing a riot. We were like peas and rice. I knew they were good friends when Jack asked me where my dad was.

I told him, "I don't think I have a dad" and he immediately shut up about it. I think I earned my respect for them that day. I don't know why, I just... did.

Anyhow... As the years went by, and we all grew older, we continued being peas and rice. I grew up, went into puberty, became what you could say, a little more attractive than I was in third grade. And so did Jack and JJ. In high school, sophomore year, Jack asked me to come to the spring fling dance with him, just as friends. And he kissed me. And I freaked out. So, I ran out of the gym and went to the hallway. There I called his phone, because I'd assume he brought his phone. When he picked up, all I could say was "I'm sorry" and "Come to the hallway".

And he did. And then I kissed him back, and we were a thing for about a year or so.

And then, they started their vine account. And that's when it all changed. He spent more time on his phone than with me, and that's when I told him that we were through. We promised we'd remain friends, but obviously, that never works out, so it was just a stupid promise anyways. After they'd become local celebrities, it expanded with every month passing by, and suddenly, they weren't just Jack and Jack - Local celebrities. They were Jack and Jack - international celebrities. I had always wished it could have worked out for me and Jack, but after they got famous, the chances minimized by each day. So I though of it as a dead end, and thought it was over. But damn, was I wrong.
